Gives you the comfort that if one of your appliances that you have covered that you can call home smart and they will come fix it or replace the parts that they cover and their really quick to get someone out to fix your problem, my service technician was Luis S. and he went beyond his duty to be polite and sociable, plus he did a great job getting my AC working. The plumbing guy came out to fix an issue we had 2 months. The fix failed completely last week and caused a big flooding in our basement. We had to call a different plumber on our own to fix it, as no one at Home Smart has been responding to the calls or taking ownership of the unprofessional sub-contractors they hire out. Beware, this company will blatantly lie to you to get you to sign up. But once you do, if something goes wrong they are "very good" at not answering service calls and not being prompt in setting up appointments and are "excellent" at avoiding taking responsibility when they mess up!! After waiting over a week to have our A/C fixed, Luis came in and ensured us that he was not leaving until he was confident our issue was taken care of. He even stayed at our house after work hours without concern if he was going to get overtime approval. We could tell, he truly wanted us to be satisfied. This review relates to Danny S of Excel. Danny arrived at my home when he said he would. He was very professional, and answered all my questions. It was very obvious Danny was very knowledgeable on all aspects of Air Conditioning and Heating and took pride in his work. When our AC Unit quit, I contacted HomeSmart From Xcel Energy as I have done for several years. Service Specialist, Jose Luis Sanchez responded in a very timely manor to access my AC needs. As expected, the 21 year old unit had to be replaced. Luis was extreamly professional and knowledgeable, helping me and my wife understand all the details about our old unit. He got the ball rolling to take the next step with the sales department and then the installers. Hats off to HomeSmart for having Luis as one of your quality employees.
