My AC died last night, and with the weather getting hotter, I dreaded the waiting list to get a service person to come out. I decided to ty a different AC company based on their reviews, and couldn't be happier! Hays Cooling and Heating sent Mike S out within an hour. Mike diagnosed the problem, explained it, gave me an estimate, and had it fixed in less than an hour and a half! He also cleaned my unit thoroughly, which no other service tech has ever done! Having dealt with many AC companies over the years, I have to say Hays is by far the best!

Brandon was on call on Sunday and he came and provided us feedback on what we needed. He was very professional and explained what we needed to do to replace the part on our a/c. Our AC went out over the weekend and I called Hays’ at 7:30 am on a Sunday morning based on the positive online reviews. A live person answered the phone and gathered my information stating that Bill would be in touch with me shortly. Bill called back 15 minutes later and was at my house to provide a quote for replacement within the hour. He provided us with multiple options for our AC replacement and they were literally half the price of one of the big name HVAC companies that advertise heavil in Phoenix. They showed up on time for the install and completed all of the work in one day. They did a professional job on the installation and cleaned up when they were done. . This was my first experience with Hays Cooling and Heating, which I selected for a basic AC service based on their positive reviews on Yelp and other sites. Their tech Brandon arrived punctually and was the consummate professional in every way. He took time to explain everything in detail and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about suggesting a few things about my system that I should keep in mind as my system ages. Hay's has always been honest and thorough with work. I have had others in to check our system but they have not be trustworthy. From the very first meeting with Jeff F, this AC unit replacement went as good as it could have gone. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and priced the work fairly. He worked with us to make sure we received a rebate from both Trane and APS. The crew arrived promptly at 7:00 on the appointed day, worked steadily until almost 5:00, cleaned up after themselves after the work was done. Chris Hays stopped by to check on the progress and stayed for a while as did Jeff F. At the end of a very long day, the foreman, Jack, walked us through the set-up of the electronic thermostat. At the end of the same week, Justin P came by to perform a quality control analysis to make sure the systems were working properly and that we were satisfied. Class act. These guys were great! First of all, I appreciated that Hays Heating and Cooling called me to inform me that the technician was running late and subsequently called to inform me he was on his way. Hays installed our air conditioners in 2014 and has provided excellent maintenance and warranty service. Frank has been our tech in the past and his recent visit was to upgrade our Trane thermostats (warranty). He needed to remove, exchange and reinstall, which he accomplished in a timely manner.
