Mike has complete understanding of how the latest HVAC systems work and was able to not only fix my heat balancing and humidity control issues and answer all of my questions but also provided me with a cheat sheet for the recommended ERV and Humidity settings for each season and also provided suggestions on the smart wifi controlled devices that will help me control all the HVAC units efficiently and easily. I was so glad that your company worked with me to have the water heater drained of the sediment. I missed the usual appointment because of the sudden death of my kid sister in the early spring and remembered that I had forgotten to take care of this regular service....David Anderson was a knowledgeable serviceman...and efficient. I did feel a little guilty that he worked me in on Monday evening...hope he made it home for even a late supper. Had very annoying whistling noise in my recently installed Zone H/A system. Had company coming to stay in lower level and needed correction asap. Reached Christy at G/R at 8 am and she assured me they would have tech out today. 2 hours later Jeff, tech, was out to fix. Calmly analyzed issue and made adjustments in air flow, Explained I had 2 yr warranty. Very knowledgeable in my system. Very happy with entire process. The guy that came out was nice enough. I ended up paying $350 for 1.5 hours of his time. He gave me two options. New boiler for $10,000 or start replacing parts to see if that could fix it for $5,000. I called another company and got a second opinion. I elected to replace one of the parts Genz suggested and just get it cleaned. That brought the CO levels to under 20PPM. We started at 1200ppm. Total damage from the other company was $1300. I feel like they were taking advantage of the fact that I'm not a boiler guy. "Just tell him we cant fix it and put a new one in!" They were however very professional as they tried to shove a $10,000 bill up my a$$! Joel P. 11/17/18 |

Tyler is wonderful service tech. He let us know when he was on the way. He inspected our furnace and explained what needed to be done. My wife didn’t feel she was being pushed into anything. Tyler or the technician was very knowledgeable and efficient. When we gave them a call early in the morning after the coldest night of the season so far, even though they were completely booked for the day they guaranteed that someone would definitely be out to assist us sometime that day since we had no heat. When I found out my hot water heater was leaking I was a little apprehensive to call a plumber due to some horror stories I have heard from others and their experiences. I did my research and found Genz-Ryan. The website was very user friendly and I was able to chat with someone from the Website online. They called me and scheduled a plumber to come to my house the next day. The Plumber came the next day and was very friendly. The part we liked the most being senior citizens was Mike our tech tock the time to explain to us what happen and how to prevent it from happening again. I was extremely happy that I decided to call Genz-Ryan to do a furnace check and tune up. I was fairly confident that the previous homeowners had never done one, so I wanted to make sure that everything was good to go for the winter with 2 little kiddos at home. The technician was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure to explain things that he found that should be done relatively soon and things that could wait awhile. Never once did I feel like he was trying to "up-sell" me; he just went through the different things that he found and explained why it might be a good idea to address them. I ended up having Genz-Ryan come back to do a duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning after the furnace checkup. My family and I were very pleased that we decided to work with Genz-Ryan and we will continue to do so in the future! Great experience! Mike G. 11/13/18 |

Service was good. David did a very good job and Colleen provided a good phone experience. What I expected to be a half hour visit....hour tops, turned into about an hour 45 minutes.
