Steve Schwendler was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Knowing I was getting my water meter replaced, he made sure that not only was my repair taken care of, but also let me know of other repairs the city would require before proceeding with the water meter work. In addition, he also tackled getting my water softener installed with perfect instructions on how to ensure it worked once the water was turned back on. He was a great guy personally and I would recommend his particular service to anyone. The only reason Genz-Ryan didn't get 5 stars from me was that I felt the rates were a little high. Our main sump pump went out at the worst possible time. Before our house could flood for the fourth time, they got someone out that day. Joel P. from Genz-Ryan put in a new pump, which has been going almost nonstop. Joel was very personable, professional, and hard working. He had the new pump put in an hour. Shay (sp?) did a very professional installation. He was very careful to explain his main concern which was about the sometimes very fussy Eagan Inspectors. I've done projects which needed permits so I have run-ins with those ego-maniacs before. The potential problem has nothing to do with the work that Shay did but has to do with codes that have changed over the last 20 years and the Inspectors seem to use their power to force you to meet current code on everything in the room where you did your work. 03/27/19 |

What good fortune my son and his wife had when Alex arrived to their house. A sump pump failure was allowing water to back up in their home - he literally sprinted into action. He thinks on his feet, is intuitive on the problem, and quickly adverted any more damage. Alex is an excellent communicator and adds a personal touch to the situation.
