Benz-Ryan was the only company that I had called that made a same day appointment for me. I love how Genz-Ryan will text you with info on the person they are sending to your home. Will continue to use Genz-Ryan for all my heating, cooling and plumbing needs.

Called Genz-Ryan because I was hearing a "humming" noise in the room where the furnace is located. They were able to come out the next day and found out it was coming from our humidifier. They fixed it (apparently wiring was not quite right) and all is well. Everyone from the person that answers the phone to the technicians have been the best. I LOVE THOSE GUYS!!!

I called to have a valve in the wall for an ice maker replaced because it was leaking. The plumber was more of an upsalesman and showed me quotes to replace my water softener, hot water heater, pressure regulator, etc. for $10k. I initially wasn’t sure if the leak was in the wall or just the valve so I turned off the water at the main which qualified me for a $199 emergency service fee instead of the normal $99 service call. The plumber was very personable, but with that said they got almost $1000 to replace a $20 valve under 2 hours.

Mike S rescued us again with the furnace issue. Mike helped us a couple of months ago with furnace balancing and did an outstanding job. During one of the February snowstorms our furnace broke leaving us with no heating in the home and Genz-Ryan sent the technician on a very short notice and it was Mike S again :) Mike diagnosed the problem very quickly and fixed it right away, he also explained me how to read the error codes in the furnace and what do they typically mean. Mike also checked the pipes and vents outside the house and gave me tips on how I can prevent some of the furnace issues in the future by making sure that those pipes and vents are not covered/blocked by snow. Mike is very knowledgeable with the HVAC systems and i strongly recommend him for any service calls.

Mike the technician was outstanding. They Installed my furnace two years ago and Mike was out for my annual check. Mike identified an issue with airflow to the furnace being low, and I am thinking; here comes another major bill. Turns out the furnace was sized for my future basement remodel, which I forgot I told them about when I purchased the furnace. Bottom line, he gave me a very competitive quote to add the ductwork in the basement. Since I had estimated by other companies years ago, I knew the pricing was inline. He had an installer out that afternoon, since I had already taken time off from work. Both Mike and Jeff (the installer) did an outstanding job. Jeff also installed my furnace two years ago. Genz-Rayan may not always be the cheapest estimate, but they do the best work, very professional, and are time. Only giving them 4 stars, since their price is higher then others, but well worth the price.

I just want to emphasize that employees are a direct reflection of the management of an organization or company. My technician, "Steve" is a great guy, and completed his work very quickly. When he realized that I was a military veteran, he offered me the "GENZ-RYAN" military veteran discount. He also shared with me that he was a military veteran as well. Many people say, "I appreciate your service", but very few show it in tangible ways. I always remember companies and organizations that offer discounts to military veterans. I realize that it is a management decision to offer discounts to military veterans, and it tells me a lot about the character of the management of the company I always enjoy working with veterans, we always have a lot to talk about. GENZ-RYAN made a good decision when they hired Steve, he was great, and GENZ-RYAN is a very reliable company. Even "Julie", the administrator who fielded my request for service, was exceedingly polite and professional. GENZ-RYAN does a great work, and has an exceptional staff. Thanks guys!

Steve was very professional and knowledgeable. He took very little time to do his work, and he had a very pleasant personality. He asked me if I was a military veteran, and when I told him, "Yes, I am", he informed me that I was eligible for the GENZ-RYAN military discount. It is always to be acknowledged for my military service, in tangibles ways. When he informed me that he was a military veteran as well, we shared some of out experiences and we both gained some valuable knowledge about gaining access to our benefits as military veterans. Thanks for your help Steve! This is my second time having worked with the people from GENZ-RYAN. I have formed the conclusion that the management at GENZ-RYAN believe in hiring very good, and genuine people. I am very impressed by that.

We consistently have the best service with Genz-Ryan. We call on this company for all of our heating, cooling, plumbing and soon electrical work. Service technicians are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, timely, thorough and honest. The company sends out email, text and phone call verification of your appointment and the bio and picture of the service technician you can expect to see at your door. I appreciate these safeguards. Matt M. arrived to help us with a water heater issue and quickly diagnosed and fixed the heater. We mentioned a couple other things we needed help with and we sat down to talk about the best plan for us not only issue wise but price wise too. Matt was in no way a pushy salesman. He let us know the future problems these current and seemingly minor issues could create down the road. We are very pleased with the plan going forward. Thanks Matt M.! We originally thought that we might have a squirrel tumbling around in the furnace, but upon Genz-Ryan's inspection, we learned that we had a need to either replace or repair part of the heatig element. While all of this is going on, Ryan, our techmician, noticed my allergies and recommended a furnace filter replacement system that has been a wonderful help to us. It is lighter weight, with a "gauze" like filter and made by Prime in New Brighton, MN. In 48 hours, both of us feel so much better and sleep well at night. Thank you!

Way too expensive. It will cost you $99.00 to get a very pricey estimate so make sure you're sitting down! It cost me $700 to unhook a gas dryer and hook up a new one sitting 10 feet away - of which I assisted moving! The technician was good and had to install a shut-off valve to get it up to code. However, very overpriced for time spent on this project. The invoice for work performed stated "Plumbing Fuel Delivery System Renovation" which sounds impressive. I'm sure there's a flat fee for this work code when in fact the work didn't justify the short time spent. I need some other small projects done as well around the house (such as leaky toilet) but won't pay the high fees. Now I need to find another plumber.

Genz-Ryan has been to the house twice in the last week nobody wants to see a plumber but these guys are great! They were able to find and fix the leak and do additional repairs that were needed. I would highly recommend Genz-Ryan Plumbing and Heating and have already done so.

Came out within 1 hour after 6 pm call. Told me what was wrong and didn’t push. Wish I was given more options in furnaces to choose from, but were able to come out the next day to install (and gave space heaters for overnight). Cost was a little higher than average, but that is usually the case with winter furnace emergencies.

Thanks to the polar vortex and my 18 yr old furnace, things got a little uncomfortable this week. However, I called GR and they listened intently to every single thing I had to say, were extremely kind with their responses, and immediately put me on the schedule. I am certain everyone there was working around the clock, but you would never know it because they made me feel like I was the only customer they had and that my needs were equally as important as everyone else. Zac came out to do the work, and he was everything I have come to expect from GR: kind, thoughtful, professional, and well equipped to do the job. Thanks to everyone with whom I interacted, as this was a tough week for all of us and I appreciate you all very much!
