It was one of the hottest and stressful weeks this summer when our AC stopped working. It was a few days before Hurricane Florence was expected to hit. I called Comfort Master and explained our problem. The lady was very friendly and sympathized with me. She was able to move some maintenance appointments around and sent Stephen to us early the next day. Stephen was very friendly and professional as he explained what our issue was with our AC unit. He was always sure to explain the steps it would take to remedy the problem and explained the cost as well. We have been loyal customers of Comfort Master for many years and will continue to do so. Bobby Watkins was very thorough, patient, informative in assessing the best systems for my needs, and setting up a timely installation.
Ismael and Roberto worked thoroughly and patiently, too, well after "business hours" to install the hardware and explain the operation of the system I chose. They came back a second day to finish up a connection to the power box, which was only necessary due to my mis-reading of the circuit labels during initial contract signing phase. They met and mastered a challenging wiring run in these old house walls with grace, cooperation, and creativity. Ismael and Roberto installed a new gas furnace and air conditioner in addition to new ductwork. It was a big job in my view--took three days--and their effort was perfect. Fantastic overall experience with the Comfort Master team when it came to replacing a whole furnace AC system. Bobby was our main contact and he walked us through all the details, options, and pricing with transparency and honesty. On top of that, he was competitive on pricing and made sure we knew about all possible discounts and rebates. When it came time for installation, Ismael and his team got the job done in the time that was promised and were completely out of the way while they installed / low on noise. Charlie and Na did a fanstic job installing our new Heating and AC unit! They were polite and professional, and very informative. They spent 11.5 hours installing the unit on a super hot day! Comfort Master once again impressed me by being able to respond promptly to my service call, and by sending a perfectly knowledgeable technician (diagnosed and repaired in around 30 mins) who was easy to like, too. Good companies attract and keep good employees, and Comfort Masters is clearly a good company. We replaced the HVAC unit including a new humidifier on the main floor. The new unit is more efficient and the ability to remove humidity during air conditioning cycle is outstanding, Ismael was very competent, professional, pleasant and courteous during the entire process. He explained each step in the installation and worked diligently to meet our needs during a challenging project. They cleaned up all the debris. I cannot say enough good things about this company. I started online in a chat, and within 15 mins I had someone call me. When I returned the call, real humans answered the phone and they were warm, welcoming and gave me the impression they wanted to serve me.
Within minutes, I had an estimate meeting scheduled with Mike LeFrancois. Mike called me the day before to confirm and ask simple questions so he would be prepared to meet all my needs. We met, and I was blown away with his professionalism and courtesy. He made recommendations for my house (and I tested him) that didn’t include their top of the line products - it was a honest assessment.
After comparing several offers, my family picked Comfort Masters, not because they were the cheapest (in fact they were the most expensive) but because we felt comfortable, safe, that they truly wanted our business (one guy actually told me he didn’t want my job, another wouldn’t amend his estimate) and most importantly, I felt like their estimate covered every nut and screw and wouldn’t include hidden charges or surprises.
I was scheduled for installation on Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning. Right on time, Ismael and Roberto arrived at my door, greeted me with warm smiles and business cards and wearing uniforms to confirm who they were. They wore booties every time they entered my house, laid down carpet protection plastic and went to work. They worked hard! I offered them water and snacks that I literally had to force on them they were so polite. They greeted me by name every time they needed to ask/tell me something, and explained everything they were doing along the way. They stayed each day until the job was done. Cleaned up behind themselves (often leaving it looking better than before) and thanked me for allowing them to service my family.
I could go on and on, but sufficient to say, I’m extremely satisfied with Comfort Master and would have no hesitation to heartily recommend them to anyone needing Heating and Air service or repair!! A Ismael A., Mike L. 07/08/18 |

Once we made the decision to go with CM they went above and beyond to meet our needs for the install. We had a last minute request. They submitted their bid to us on Tuesday. We had an upcoming baby shower the following Sunday and could they install before then? Recognizing they could not guarantee it, they sent out a request to their crews to see if anyone was available for Saturday ….
Boy were we lucky. Jorge and company were OUTSTANDING. Very accommodating and able to clearly assist us it the "how to operate" after the install. And the install went just as described; fast and efficient with total cleanup when complete. It was as if they were never there. And the reassurance to call if needed was incredible - and much appreciated.
The shower went well. Everyone was comfortable and loved the unit [even though it met our expectations for being "seen but not heard"!]. The Mom Cave is now complete.

******* and ** were here all day doing our HVAC install. They arrived on time, went to work quickly, and when they were done they cleaned up the area and hauled the trash and old equipment away. ** came inside the house and put a new thermostat up and ******* came at the end of the day to show us how to use it. They were both very polite and pleasant. Highly recommend. Also, ***** came to our house to get us started with the process of selecting a new system.
