Comfort Master Heating and Air recently installed an upstairs ***** HVAC system. Their two technicians ***** and ***** were great. Very professional, neat , knowledgeable and great to work with on this project. Likewise, **** *****, the Operations director is very knowledgeable, helpful and trustworthy. I would highly recommend this company for your HVAC work. ***

I have owned four units installed by this company; all of which were manufactured by Trane. Two of which had to be replaced for early failure. Now a third has broken down after less than 5 years, well within the 10 year parts warranty. Despite the parts being covered the repair cost was still thousands of dollars. After researching others experiences and information about this model online I discovered other problems and concerns and found some of them to be present with my unit as well. I was worried about paying for this repair only to have another part breakdown. I asked Comfort Master if it might be better to replace the whole unit. According to Trane’s own website calculator (cost of repairs multiplied by the age in years of the unit) I should be replacing the unit based on the main issue alone. I was told by Comfort Master that they were unable to address these concerns and to contact Trane directly. When I contacted Trane, customer service started a claim and told me to get a “diagnosis for a new unit” from my service provider. This is where the problems really started. Comfort Master claimed they did not know what this was and that it was not needed. After a number of emails trying to clarify they told me that they had contacted Trane who told them that this was not needed. When I called Trane they would tell me the same information, a diagnosis of new unit, was needed. The Comfort Master employee went so far as to claim I might not have called the correct place asking who I spoke with on these calls. I kept records of each call and eventually it was agreed that I needed an assessment of the current unit to verify its condition. The previous service record having almost no info about the condition of the unit, I asked about getting another. I was told that they would not do so since the current problem had to be fixed first. So I have to spend the money to fix the problem in order to find out if the unit is any good to keep. After many years of as a customer and many promises of providing the best customer focused service and conviction that “you can’t stop a Trane” I am done with both companies. Fool me once, twice, and I guess three times the charm.

Ricky arrived in time and did the scheduled maintenance of our heating system. He was very polite, knowledgeable, explained all the things he did, and answered all our questions. We did have some problems with our XL1050 thermostat (quite often not showing the 5-day forecast). He escalated the call to Matt Britt, their Operations Manager. Overall, we are very satisfied with his work.

Called for service on Saturday morning. Was told nobody could respond until Monday for service. The lady said 24/7 only means we answer the phone 24 hours a day. This is how they prioritize service. Freezing temperatures thermostat does not work. This is a system installed two years ago by Comfort Master. Tough to see the Quality in this Service.

We hired Comfort Master to install a gas line for our new fire pit. Jorge was efficient, explained any questions we had during the installation and made sure everything was done correctly and passed inspection. He went above expectations and helped with some adjustments to the concrete to make sure the key valve fit properly. Jorge even helped back fill the trench when he was finished. Comfort Master will have a repeat customer with us as long as they continue this level of service and professionalism.

Everyone at Comfort Master has been exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, and they have gone above and beyond to help us solve our recent air conditioning problems. Susan, Angela, Steve and Sam were so pleasant and caring. While one hvac company told us we needed an entirely new compressor for $1700, Steve narrowed down our problem, without being able to actually hear it, as a possible fan motor ($325). After he tuned up our system, it worked great for another three weeks, but acted up again and we were finally able to video it making the weird noise it was making. Sam diagnosed it as a faulty connector and replaced it for about $150. He also replaced a faulty damper that had started causing problems. All in all, the very best hvac service we've ever had from any company. I highly recommend Comfort Heating and Air!

We are very pleased with Comfort Master. (Please note: Buddy B is not listed above, and we did speak with three CM staff members during this period) During the holiday week one of our units did not appear to be functioning as it should. We had a service check-up already scheduled for the upcoming Monday but we called Comfort Master to see if consideration should be given to moving the appointment up. A service tech returned our call immediately, and determined we could wait. The following day we received a follow-up call from a scheduler to ensure the unit had not gotten worse. On Monday, Buddy B. arrived for the routine maintenance visit, and was ready to do any necessary repairs. Buddy was professional (as has been our past experience with all Comfort Master staff) and thorough. The company is tops for service and product line.

Ismael & Chris installed a new heat pump & air handler this week & did an excellent job. They stayed until 7:30 pm the first day to ensure we had heat that night. They were back at 8:30 the next day to complete. Everything was done "the right way", they were careful in the house, very clean & again an all around professional job. I highly recommend Comfort Master, I have been a customer since 2006 & never disappointed in the service they do.
