Brothers Plumbing Heating and Electric just replaced our 10 year old smoke detectors with new combination Carbon Monoxide and Smoke detectors with 10 year batteries so that you never need to replace the batteries until you replace the detector. Today was the worst/best day. My main line was clogged and backing up my toilets and bath tubs. Went into my crawl space and there is water everywhere, I was freaking out. Joe arrived and made it an awesome experience for me, walked me through the entire process. We were getting discouraged because the clogg was tough and not letting lose, but joe never gave up and stuck with it, eventually getting the clogg cleared. Can’t thank joe enough. Joe P. 10/29/18 |

David S did a great job installing my new gas furnace. He arrived on time, explained what he was doing and provided me information on how things worked. He informed me about the warranty and how to register the furnace which provided extended time on some of the warranty. He did a great job in cleaning everything up. He took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure that I was comfortable with everything before he left. I really appreciate the fantastic work he did and his great customer service! Joshua fixed our clogged kitchen sink today. He was very knowledgeable and found a better method of unclogging sink from the outside line, instead of unclogging from the downstairs pipes. UPDATE 10/24/2018: Brothers remains awesome. Had another plumbing issue after a contractor didn't do something right - Brothers to the rescue! Specifically, Aaron was a great help in problem solving our issue. We always look to Brothers when we need plumbing, heating or electric help.
PREVIOUS REVIEW: Brothers has been great to work with! We bought a 30 year old house that has not been well taken care of, and Brothers has helped us with the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing - thank goodness! Our latest visit was from Ray C and Steve S, who fixed a poorly installed toilet quickly and efficiently. They are also friendly and trustworthy - I have had to leave them in the house when I left for an appointment once, with no problems at all. Everyone Brothers has sent to our house has been great! My wife discovered a leak under our sink. I called Brothers Plumbing in the evening and they had a live person immediately pick up the phone and schedule the appointment. The plumber showed up as scheduled and promptly did the job to our satisfaction. And since it was warranty work there was no charge. Can't get more professional than that! Aaron R. 10/25/18 |

Jeff did an all right job. He had all the right answers to make the company and the previous Gary and his helper look good. Unfortunately, the problem I'm having is my own problem. The companies 2 year warranty is only good if everything is okay on the first visit. First visit was very long, expensive. The mechanism for Flushing acted up about a month later and so they had to come back and it was Gary and his helper and Gary rebuilt the mechanism. A month later they acted up again and then Jeff came out. And that's when everything in my house is wrong and it would cost me close to $1,000 to have them straighten it up so that my toilet would flush right. I've been in my house for 50 years and I've never had this problem before. I don't know if it's because of the equipment that's being put in. So the two star rating is not so much against Jeff as it is against the company and their policies. First time I have used by others and it will be the last. Wow!!! I had a gas leak with all my kids and animals in the house in the middle of the night!!! Scary!! Jake showed up quickly after all gas was shut off and spent six hours at my house until heat worked, gas was on again and most importantly my family was safe. Zach came early, which I very much appreciated, and got the job done quickly. He was unfailingly polite and took care with putting on the booties and keeping my carpet clean. He managed to get the sprinkler system turned off even though I was quite uninformed about it and could help very little beyond pointing to where things were. Zachary arrived 10 minutes early, which impressed me right away. My sprinkler system wasn't set up like normal systems and Zachary had to go to the Ace Hardware store to by an adapter, so he could hook his air hose up to my sprinkler system to blow them out. He had a great attitude the whole time and never let the "uniqueness" of my system to upset him. He even thanked me for putting up with him and allowing him to learn something new on the job. He cleaned up his mess and always made sure to have coverings on his feet when he came into the house. Very polite young man with a great attitude.
