The technicians who put in my new AC unit (Montre P & James B) were awsome. To me, they went above and beyond what I expected, which may be their general but I don't think so. I've been in my house for 22 years and had never went up in the attic until Montre wanted my husband and I to go up to see our new A/C unit. Now I truly know what my attic looks like after 22 years. He then took us outside to see the new outside unit.

Technician arrived two hours after our agreed-upon window. Nobody called to notify us that the appt would be missed. We had to call twice to get status. When technician arrived, he did a brief look at a few things and told us nothing was wrong and acted as if our problems were either normal or imagined. We had different company provide a second opinion and after the second company did a comprehensive check, they found multiple issues and offered us options. Blue Dot lost our future business.

All around, nothing but good things to say about Blue Dot. However they absolutely must back up their "24x7 Emergency Service" claim or remove all mention of it. The one time I needed emergency service on a Sunday, no tech's were available and I couldn't even speak to Blue Dot employee to ask a question that could have helped restore my AC immediately. Turns out the reason I didn't have AC for almost 48 hours and my weekend guests had to sleep on couches and blow-up mattresses downstairs is because of a faulty water sensor Blue Dot installed. A simple press of the reset button (on the unit in the attic) resolved the problem. PLEASE make at least one Tech available on call to assist your customers 24x7 and increase your emergency staff for on-site needs during off hours.

As always, I am wary of calling for services, since I do not know if a service provider is honest and above board. With that in mind I contacted Blue Dot Services to come and troubleshoot a problem I was having with my AC compressor. I scheduled the appointment, I was called before hand to let me know of their pending arrival, and the service technician, Warren, arrived at the stated time. I explained the situation to him and he went immediately to work troubleshooting and diagnosing the problem. He found that the refrigerant (R22) was low and it needed to be added. He was patient with all my questions and concerns and further advised that R22 was no longer used (EPA) and that the cost would reflect its scarcity. He helped me understand and he proceeded to fix the problem. At no point did I feel "in the dark" or not understanding what he was doing. After this service call, and the professional, caring and patient treatment I got from Warren, Blue Dot is now my choice of service for all my HVAC needs. Thanks again for a great experience.

Very professional and did a great job while keeping me informed of what was happening. Will called 30 minutes out and he and Brad did a bang up job. Will seems to really genuinely like air conditioning. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Did not touch the AC unit with a tool to test anything because it was frozen.But what was the first thing out of his mouth was that we need a new unit.

I understood when my install had to be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances but I assumed the reschedule would be the same time -8-9am arrival - as the original. No one ever told me otherwise. No one called ahead at all. When they finally arrived at 3:30pm I was quite frustrated. Your office staff had had no answers for me even after 3 phone calls.

I was looking for a second opinion on a new A/C unit as mine was leaking R22. Fernando came and was very knowledgable. He didn't wear booties though and that upsets me. He told me what the other company had told me and said he could have someone come for an estimate. Both Fernando and the estimator, Doug Troyer, came in a timely manner and explained things well to me. Brad gave me a slightly better price than the first company and I decided to have Blue Dot install a new unit. The installation was scheduled for that Friday. I cleared my calendar and was ready for them. Friday morning at 8:45, I got a call from Richard who told me they couldn't come because his assistant was in the hospital unexpectedly. I was upset, but understood it was unavoidable. It was rescheduled for Monday. I assumed, as it was a 6 hour job, that they would be here between 8 and 9 as the Friday team had been scheduled for that time frame. On Monday, I got up early and was all ready at 8am for them. They didn't show up. At 9:30am I called the office and spoke to Danielle. She said she would find out what was up and call me back. An hour and a half later, not having heard, I called again and spoke to Mary this time. She put me on hold and then came back and told me that my installers were doing someone else first and would come to me after that. I asked what time that would be but she was not able to give any time frame at all. Finally, at 3:30, I called again and got Danielle. She said she hadn't found out anything for me and was sorry. As we were talking, I saw the Blue Dot truck drive in. I was worried by then because I live in a condo building and there is no work allowed after 8pm. If it took 6 hours, that would make it 9:30 by the time they finished. I had missed my exercise class which I could easily have gone to if the office had simply called me and told me that I was the second install of the day. It took 3 phone calls by me to extract any information. Very frustrating!!!!! At least, Roth and Adrian, my installers, were very nice and very efficient. I was impressed with their work and it was extremely hot that day. Very uncomfortable working conditions for them. They finished at 7:30, so i was very happy about that. I would give Roth, Adrian and Doug Troyer 5 stars. Fernando gets 4 stars because he didn't wear booties. The office staff should have called me to confirm the appointment, give me an approximate time and respond better when I called. They rate 2 stars.

You advertise 24/7 emergency service. We called for an emergency A/C repair on an oppressive 101 degree day. My 81 year old mother lives with us. First you told us you would be here between 4-6 pm. At 6:30 we called to find out where you were and was told it would be between 6-8. At 8:30 we called and held for 25 minutes, at 8:55 we spoke with someone who told us a repair technician had signed in saying he started our job at 8:44! It's 9:50 and no one has still showed up! Emergency services? Laughable.

Dale Holland did a fantastic job on my AC repair. My AC has a problem that was difficult to diagnose and Dale kept working the problem and in the end he was able to find the problem and get it resolved. It took him almost the whole day and he kept me informed throughout. Dale is professional and customer orientated!

The worst service and Technician was dishonest. Charged me for freon and didn't charge my AC unit. I called everyday for 2 weeks to speak to customer service. Was told every time I called someone would call. Never did. Think twice before you use this company.

Jason came for my summer check-up only to find that the front and side sidewalks were being rebuilt, so he had to walk up, then down a hill to enter by the back door. He did this several times during the course of the visit, always with a smile on his face! And he even lent us a tool so we could fix my husband's wheelchair. He completed the check-up efficiently, as is generally true of Blue Dot's technicians. But his willingness to put up with all this and to help us was the best!

All went well in customer service and knowledge of determining problem, also what was needed to fix problem. The problem came when they wanted to charge $890.00 for $135.00 part. this was unacceptable and extreme case of usery.

Blue Dot is the best. They are the only company I will allow to service my a/c needs. My parents are also customers. My technician, Peter P. Was extremely nice and educated me about some things I did not know about my a/c unit. I hope they send him again for future service calls and general maintenance checks. He has great customer service skills.

Chris was very courteous but was not able to fix the problem. The problem is electrical and I know that can be difficult to detect. He said he would ask for a more experienced Blue Dot technician to come and review the problem.

I wasn't given a estimate. I wasn't told what the problem was. Only told he put freon in AC. I asked if it's common to need to put freon in a 4 year old unit. He couldn't answer. He just wanted payment. The AC continued to not work so I called back. Another tech came out and said the unit was low on freon. So what did I pay the first guy for. I've called several times to speak to someone other then the girl snswering the phone. I've left multi messages. No call back. My option is. Blue Dot is shady. I was ripped off and paid for a service I didn't get.

Excellent service today from Blue Dot. I posted on yelp as well. Brad M did a wonderful job. He was friendly and very helpful. His suggestion to add a part to my touchscreen kept my old paint from showing through next to the wallpaper. He also helped Steve B move clothes and plastic tubs for me do they could do the installation. Both worked hard and did a great job. My house feels nice and cool. Thank you!

I have been with Blue Dot since 1993 or 1994 It was Corbin Electronics back then. Mr. Corbin sold to Blue Dot and I continued my service. I have been very satisfied with the service so plan on continuing the service for many years.
