We hired Albert Nahman during the pandemic to install an air conditioning system in our house built in 1924. We interviewed four firms, three of whom said it was not possible to add successfully add AC to such an old house and then Albert Nahman's team figured out an elegant and workable solution. I am happy to report we turned the AC on for the first time yesterday and it works GREAT! Due to the pandemic, I held off contacting Albert Nahman plumbing to help me with some plumbing issues in my house. Recently, I contacted the company and an appointment was scheduled for yesterday. , a technician with the company - arrived on time and we walked through my list of concerns and questions. He addressed and fixed the drips and leaks that were on my list that same day. Over the past couple of years, I have contacted Albert Nahman plumbing company for various plumbing problems in my old house. My furnace stopped operating on 3/15. The dispatcher at AN told me they were currently experiencing a manpower shortage and were down to two techs and were running behind. It took almost a week to get my furnace back on. To AN's credit, they advised me of the delays every day or so, and finally Chris and Kevin came out on 3/22, and re-started the furnace and provided a diagnosis. So far the furnace is operating well. I rarely post reviews. Nevertheless, the recent service from Albert Nahman was so exemplary, that I felt compelled to do so. If I could, I would award six stars. Actually, i've been a customer of Albert Nahman probably over 20 years. My antique water heater, between 15 and 20 years old sprung a leak and clearly needed to be replaced. I called AN and as usual the call was promptly returned. Matter of fact, much to my surprise and delight, a technician was sent out within the hour to give me an estimate. My house is quite large, situated on an incline. The water heater is located in a crawl space underneath the house. It is quite a hike to access the space. Ismael, the technician was punctual, courteous and professional. I had an estimate the same day. I scheduled the water heater replacement for the first available date which was 6 days from the time of my call. Meanwhile, the leaking water heater shut down entirely. This was on a Saturday. With little hope I called AN and Lisa came to my rescue. She could move up the appointment to Monday morning! Again I was delighted by this accommodation. The technician Monowar (please forgive any misspelling) was superb. He was very courteous, professional and efficient. He even gave me some pointers how to replace my air filter on the furnace. Albert Nahman made an effort to keep me informed of every step in the process, from the initial investigation to construction. They brought the right people to the first visit, and answered all my questions clearly. They were the only contractor who could properly advise me on the implications of a heat pump water heater, both electrical and plumbing.
