My wall heater died. It was freezing in my house so I was very happy to be able to get help the day after I called. Mr. Snowden came on time, repaired the heater and replaced the thermostat. He was professional in his work and courteous personally. Due to a failure of product, the thermostat had to be replaced again, He showed up shortly after my call and completed the job with no waiting. I would happily welcome him back for further service. Stanley, came to inspect a leak and possible rotting of drainpipe. All though there was nothing he could do for the purpose of coming but while under the house notice some piping that did not sit right with him. He took it upon himself to brace this area. Please pass along my tremendous thank you to Tony for coming out today and getting our heater hooked back up with a new thermostat and covering the wall opening solidly with plastic and tape. A few weeks ago, our tankless hot water heater started running cold here and there. I made an appointment on a Friday for the following Wednesday because Albert Nahman was booked until then, and I figured we could make it work. We chose them because they are known for fixing Takagi tankless hot water heaters. As things go, we completely lost all hot water over the weekend. Not fun. I called back to see if there was anything they could do, or at least to get on the cancellation list. Lisa said they were booked, but to sit tight, and she'd see what she could do. She exceeded my expectations by not only changing things on the schedule to get us a Monday appointment, but also arranging it at my preferred window of availability. Chris showed up well within the window on Monday. I had done some research on my own, tested a few things here, and even called Takagi, so I had some input I wanted him to consider before taking a look himself. Chris was patient in listening and more than willing to answer all of my questions. I also appreciated his friendly and professional demeanor and the fact that he was thorough and clearly knew what he was doing. He was honest with me about the situation, and I felt the price was fair, all things considered (he was here working for quite some time). I am a woman who ends up solo at home to handle all things repair-related, and I cannot say all of this about many of my other experiences with repairmen. I would put Albert Nahman -- thanks to Lisa and Chris -- at the top of my list of places I would confidently refer to others. They probably aren't the least expensive, but professionalism, honesty and expertise are worth something to me, and we couldn't be more happy with the outcome -- we have hot water, and we didn't have to replace the tankless hot water heater, at least not quite yet! This is my 2nd time using Albert Nahman services. Efficient, informative and respectful service. Deepak and his assistant did a terrific job installing a new toilet, and re-grounding a 2nd toilet that was starting to rock (due to issue with new flooring service person that didn't ground correctly). I greatly appreciated the explanation/information which helps me learn. And they wore masks and booties throughout the job. With Stanley who was clearly knowledgeable about our problem with our roof rainwater run-off sump pump in a collection tank. Organized, had the exact replacement pump already in his truck, cleaned out the tank, tested the drains to the street, new pump in around 1.5 hours, nice. We woke up to a "surprize" leak in the hose to our water heater yesterday morning. After turning off the water, we made a call to Albert Nahman Plumbing, and even though they had full schedule for the day, the staff kindly added in an emergency trip to replace our hose. Fernando Villanueva showed up with mask and gloves, and quickly swapped out the bad hose. Since we are working from home right now, they were very respectful about being quiet while I was on a ZOOM call with my office. We can't say enough good things about this experience!
