I have been a customer of Nahman Plumbing for more than 20 years. My recent experience was excellent as usual. The technician was friendly and professional, and provided explanations and education regarding what he was doing and how to avoid further problems. A pipe connected to the bathroom sink had broken, leading to the water in the house being shut off. We received an estimate from another plumbing business that involved cutting into the plaster wall to replace the pipe; their service didn’t include patching the wall afterward. We called Alfred Nahman for a second opinion; they rearranged their schedule to see us on short notice, since we had no running water. Jose arrived promptly, inspected the damage, and fixed it on the spot, for less than our previous estimate. He was very professional and courteous, and we got our water service back sooner and with much less disruption than expected. I would highly recommend this company and technician to anyone! As always, Stanley explored all the issues we are concerned about and gave us thorough and knowledgeable information and advice. We decided to do the projects over time; so he and Sam fixed the badly clogged sink. Yay!!! We will schedule the next job shortly. He and a team did other plumbing work earlier and major piping - both above ground and under. Our water has been running really well ever since. Stanley is a stellar plumber and wonderful to work with. Kudos to Albert and his entire team - from plumbers to schedulers to the incredible phone crew. Thanks to you all. We had Ismael Cortes as our service tech who fixed problems with the pipe under the kitchen sink and with one of our toilets. He arrived on time, did a great job, and was happy to explain what he did. He also got us an estimate for a future fix we will need down the road, but can wait to do it ($1,200 so the ability to defer the expense is a relief). Ismael followed COVID 29 safety protocols, cleaned up after he finished, and was so friendly and kind. I highly recommend this company and especially Mr. Cortes. We will ask for him the next time we need service. We were so pleased that we wrote a commendation letter and mailed it to Albert Nahman Plumbing Services. Ismael deserves a bonus and we said so! I had a great experience with Nahman Plumbing. When I called on Saturday about low hot water pressure in the kitchen, the answering service responded. I had a callback within a half hour and an appointment for Monday since it was not identified as an emergency. The company confirmed the appointment in writing and sent text and email reminders. The technician, Mario, arrived well within the 2-hour time frame quoted (after sending a text when he was on his way giving me the opportunity to track his route). I can’t seem to make this survey software work for me, so I’m sending this note to be sure you know that Thomas Dunn did excellent drainage repair work at my house today and definitely gets a “5” rating. In fact, the problem today is directly related to a more extensive project, the first half of the replacement of an old drainage system, that was started in 2016 and that I now want to complete as soon as possible. I have an appointment with Stan, who supervised that original work in 2016, for next Tuesday to get an estimate for finishing the job.
