Monowar arrived promptly and was respectful and courteous both to me and my residence. He quickly figured out the problem and worked efficiently. He presented me with a cost before he did any work which is an clear and honest way to do business. He went out of his way to make sure he had the right part. Now my faucet works as it should. Chris was on time to the minute and when he arrived to clean and service our instant water heater and gas heater he inspected the devices and told me exactly what the service would entail. Tony Contreras provided service to our heating system yesterday and walked us through some of the features we hadn't known about. He alerted us to hazards we hadn't thought about and told us where to set rodent traps. He closed up a drafty hole in a doorway. He improvised a small lip into one of our heating ducts to help the system redirect heat more efficiently. When you ask Albert Nahman to service your heating system, you will get comprehensive assistance! I'm a regular customer of Albert Nahman - living in an older building provides lots of opportunities to call plumbers. They consistently send out professional, competent, helpful teams, and I really appreciate the time they take to explain everything they expect to do, and all charges, before they begin work, and check with me whenever something unexpected comes up. Today, their plumber went above and beyond, stepping in to my retired neighbor's apartment quickly to dislodge a stuck sink stopper that required more strength than she had. It took only a couple of minutes, but it was the kind of generosity, neighborliness, and kindness that I have come to associate with Albert Nahman. Though I had questions about their competence, both guys did a fine job.They even saved us some $ by suggesting that we did not need 2 sinks pumped out. I always request Deepak providing it's not an emergency service. I always feel that Albert Nahman lives up to the motto of "peace of mind" and the staff is so competent and clean! They always remember to respect your property and are conscientious about not leaving a mess, as some other plumbing companies tend to do. In the three times that plumbers from this company have come out, I have found to be professional, knowledgeable and just nice people. Mario has come out twice and is very good. The company is on the expensive side but it follows through, is timely and gets the job done. Email communication is good, especially now that things are opening up. I had three outside faucets that had leaks and two had broken handles.
They broke off the faucet on the side of the house so I have no faucet there any more. They did put new handles on the two remaining. What I did not like is that I lost the use of one of my faucets and I paid $785.04 for what I believe was poor service. All they did was break one faucet which is now, non-functional and still in the wall and repair two faucets. What I discovered latter was that they also removed the pipe that supplied the water to the side faucet, so if I were to get a new functioning faucet the new plumber would have to find another source of water and a new pipe to the new faucet. They did not tell me that they were going to remove the water supply pipe. They were only supposed to have capped the broken pipe. I can not believe that they turned a simple faucet repair into a major expensive problem. I received a reply stating that they warned her that it might break. Which is a total lie. We were experience low water flow/pressure in our hot water from a few of our faucets. Tad came out and meticulously looked over and diagnose the issue and fixed what could be fixed that day - the flow out of our bathtub faucet due to sediment in the pipes - and laid out the fixes needed for the other issues. We have used ANS for six years for our plumbing/sewer emergencies. They are responsive, fast, and efficient. Their repairpeople are well trained and the company sends both reminders as well as same-day arrival updates via email/text. We have two Toto toilets: Ultramax and Acquia. Take our advice, DO NOT buy the Acquia! It's a mediocre toilet compared to the Ultramax, both in design and maintenance. The internal parts are numerous and complicated, unlike traditional toilet parts. Anyway, after about 4 yrs, the Acquia started to leak. We have replaced flappers before, but had never actually looked inside the Acquia. Holy moly, it's got a zillion parts, none of which remotely resembled a flapper. We realized this was going to take a pro to fix and called Nahman Services, specifying our make/model toilet. The leak got worse rapidly, so we were relieved when Thomas, our repairperson, quickly ID'ed the issue and showed us what was wrong. Spouse and I briefly discussed whether it was worth fixing after Thomas gave us the cost, but decided to give the go-ahead. Yanking the toilet out and replacing it just wasn't something we wanted to put up with, right now. Thomas had a replacement part in his truck and swapped it out quickly.
