My ac had been out for a couple days and my home warranty company said it would be days to weeks for the new condenser to be shipped. I called Air Supply and several other companies. Air Supply was the only one who was able to fix it by installing a kickstart unit and not only that but the tech, George Ramos, also checked all my vents to see if they were working properly and also helped me with my air filter. This is the 2nd time having this company clean the air ducts in my house. It's been 5 years since the last cleaning and I have the service done again with this same company. Again, I was not disappointed. Very very pleased with the completed service. Michael, the owner, and his workers Josh and Juan were there on time and came into my home prepared to work. They even put on shoe covers when they came inside without me ever saying a word. They really take pride in their work as can be evidenced by the way they wear shoe covers and making sure things are in order after they are done with the work. The price I paid was very fair for 17 vents and 2 main units/return air. Free vent dryer cleaning with the service. They were very professional in every way. Top notch company. I called Air Supply this morning because our AC was blowing warm air. I kept their number handy since I called for an air duct cleaning a couple years ago & when the technician came out he checked our vent/returns & said he honestly didn't think we needed it cleaned. He said he would if I insisted but he didn't want to charge me for something I really didn't need. It was refreshing to have such an honest service technician. I made a note to call them again if I ever had a problem with the AC. They were able to schedule someone to come out today between 10am - 2pm. Field supervisor George arrived & diagnosed a blown capacitor. He showed me exactly what was wrong & was able to make the repair in minutes. He asked if I wanted to have him do a maintenance check on both our units. I said sure since he was already here. He was very professional & talked me through what each part of the system does as he was replacing the capacitor. He also showed me that I can spray the unit with a hose quarterly to remove dust & debris. I was very satisfied with his explanations & upfront competitive pricing. I never felt like he was trying to upsell me on a service I didn't need. I was even able to have the YELP discount code applied to the price. I see why this company has 4-5 stars. I called for their special tune up, it was a good price and they had excellent reviews. Kevin showed up and I advised him that when it rains, it leaks into the house through the vents. We had replaced our first AC through one of those home warranty plans. It was about seven years ago. When Kevin got back, he stated it was a lousy job. Then he showed me pictures. Turns out they gave us an illegal system as the Freon was illegal. It wasn't complete and wasn't sealed correctly. He showed me his pictures and even googled the freon. He was correct, it's illegal. The pictures showed rust and a very lousy job. It was going to go down any time. We talked for a while, gave me some options. I bought a new system. It didn't take long. About two hours later Miguel and crew showed up. The system looked like a person who cared about his work. No way did the work done by the sorry crew from the home warranty plan, come even close, matter of fact their work sucked and I got screwed. We had a Nevada power thermostat, which had a transmitter. Miguel asked me where it was. As I didn't know, he looked everywhere. He finally found it in the attic. I would recommend this company everybody Air Supply Team. 04/08/20 |
