The whole process of diagnosing the problem with my A/C unit and necessarily replacing the HVAC system was very smooth. From the scheduling to the install, there was excellent communication and execution of tasks. Tim, our service tech, David, our salesman and Robert and his team did an exceptional job of explaining the process. This is a mixed review. A part in our air conditioning system broke so we called Air Comfort as they had installed it five years before. The staff was good and got someone out right away. The repairman (Jacob) was excellent - professional, diligent, and determined to finish the job despite having to work in a hot attic. My disappointment was in the fact that it cost me hundreds of dollars even though the repair was necessary to replace a part that was still under a 10-year warranty. Buyer beware. If your warranty only covers parts, it can still cost you a lot of money for labor to replace it. My mistake was thinking the one-year labor warranty was directed at things like tuning the machines, not replacing bad parts. Seems to me this creates an incentive for companies to install bad parts and then collect big sums of money when they have to come replace them. Perhaps the problem is with Carrier who supplied the part to Air Comfort but when I called them, they said that's why they have a warranty. From the original temporary repair of our A/C system, to the process of bidding the job (replacing HVAC) to the install,
Tim (service tech), David B (sales rep) and Robert R and his team did an outstanding job taking care of our HVAC needs. The new system is up and running smoothly, we are receiving rebates from Ameren and Spire to help defer some of the cost of the new equipment. We highly recommend Air Comfort Service to anyone looking to upgrade their system.

A dreaded experience was turned into a pleasurable one. I’ve been with Air Comfort for about 30 years. My blower went out in my 20 year old furnace, so had to get a new dual HVAC system. My water heater was 23 years old so decided it was best to get that done too before a major catastrophe.
Scott was awesome in helping pick a new system. He’s very practical and doesn’t pressure you into something you don’t want or need.
Al and Peter were superb! I cannot express enough how impressed I was was them. They came in and went above and beyond what was expected of them. They are top notch. I found out they aren’t willing to do anything unless it’s right for the system and the customer. They could have made do, but didn’t. They are an asset to their company.
I couldn’t be happier the way things were handled and how they worked out!

Excellent service. John came out and checked the equipment to make sure everything was working. During the night, the AC was not cooling the house.
