Armando did a great job from start to finish. We were having issues with a clogged AC, and he arrived on time and was very professional and fixed our problem in no time. Luis, the tech was very helpful and patient.
The company charges astronomical charges. Luis came on Sunday therefore the charge was $119. Then he charged $175 for labor. He wasn"t at my house for 10 min. and didn't have the part to make the repair. It has been 6 days without air. I have called several times and no one has returned my calls. We are quite angry about this especially since this unit is only 14 months old. Ever since we opted to go with ARS, it has been one issue after the other. The company has come out to service this brand new unit at least 6 times, and now the big charges begin. Save your money and time. Go elsewhere. Luis G. 09/24/20 |

Eight years ago we purchased a home HVAC system through ARS, and paid extra for their 10-year parts & labor warranty. After an earlier warranty problem with ARS, we discontinued using them for periodic maintenance, and now use Arctic Cool. The system quit working last week, and Arctic Cool quickly determined that the evaporator coil was leaking, and needed to be replaced. I contacted ARS for a warranty replacement, and they insisted on charging me over $300 for a 5-minute leak test to confirm the evaporator coil replacement need. Not only should there be no diagnostic fee to simply confirm the need for a warranty replacement, $300 for a 5-minute confirmation test is unreasonable. In short, ARS was determined to get a substantial service fee regardless of my warranty. Since I could not trust that ARS would not find something else to charge me for once they started the project, and since the coil itself was covered by the manufacturer, I had Arctic Cool replace the evaporator coil, paying their installation labor which was not much more than ARS’s $300 test fee. I have totally lost confidence in ARS’s desire and ability to stand by the labor part of their HVAC warranties. Admin A. 05/23/20 |

I refused to pay the price they wanted me to pay for the part. I went to another company and paid less. Their tech was very rude and told me I was wasting his time. They wanted to charge me $99 for a service fee, plus parts and labor. My AC unit is only 3 years old and it's still under warranty. They told me the part was not covered under warranty and I called another company and they said all parts are covered under warranty. The technician that came to my house was so rude and unprofessional that my dad left work to come to my house to be a witness and to tell them they were price gouging their prices. We had air and heat pump installed this week and were so pleased with the results and the workers Ruben and Andrez were very kind, quiet, efficient, knowledgeable, cleaning area, and answering all our questions with patience and clarity. We have had many appliances installed in our home over 20 years, but have never experienced the quality of excellence that these two men performed. My experience with my HVAC units installation was good in terms on timeliness, professionalism and interaction. Steve, Brandon and Alex did a good job. Steve and Alex called to let me know when they were picking up the equipment at the warehouse and when they were on their way to the house. Upon showing up they checked out the area and began the removal of the old equipment and install of the new. They did a great job and answered any questions we had along the way. When complete they cleaned up the work area both inside and out and Steve went over all the equipment with us and gave us some tips to ensure the long lasting life of our new HVAC system. Steve and the ARS crew came in and installed 2 new units within 6 hours. The team was very polite, clean, and when they found that the sales person accidentally sold us the wrong size unit for us down stairs they took care of it immediately and saved us $900.00 and the new unit was installed on the same day without any delays. Steve and Alex did a very good job of installizgmy Rheem heating/Air conditioner, and coil. However, I still do not have the Nest thermostat working from my phone.
I had difficulty filling out the form for the TECO rebate. they could have been more helpful. I think the ARS office should have the forms and help customers fill them out. This was hours of frustrations for me. Steve C. 11/08/19 |

should've read the reviews first. My experience with this UNPROFESSIONAL company was a total nightmare. The salesman's George failed to informed the installers that my late father's home had a french drainage system. George was in such a hurry for my business and my money. George Persuaded me by stating that if my spouse or a family member was a veterans, I could get an additional $1600 off the bill. I Qualify for the discount because my fiance and my late son, United States Marines

What a distasteful sale line to use to get cheaper service.
When the initial installers came to my home, they were impolite and rude. The installers were upset because George the salesman requested the installers to install a new unit that same day. The installers had just finished a prior job and had arrived at my home after 3:00 p.m.
They were infuriated because they knew that this job was going to take 6 hours or more to complete. Which means they were not leaving my house until 9 or 10:00 p.m.
I couldn't take their rude behavior and I asked them to leave. Therefore, George had a second crew to come out the next day, they were quick and respectful however, haste makes waste. The building inspectors failed the job because there wasn't a drainage system installed
Another installer had to come back to my home to install a drainage pump. The Start date for this project 10/03/2019 to 11/01/2019.
I should've went with my initial instinct and gone with Cool Ray AC company.

Steve & Alex installed a new HVAC unit and condenser in my home on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019. Both technicians arrived separately at the same time and removed the old units and installed new units in approximately a 5 hour period. The teamwork of these '2' individuals was exemplary and their work performance and know how was reassuring to say the least. Steve took time to go over what I needed to know relative to the units performance and homeowner maintenance for keeping the new units operational. He also explained the NEST thermostat in detail. Ruben and Alexander (Jose?) did an incredible job. This is the third AC unit I've had to have installed in this house. Add that to the original, and that's four. (Yes, I've been here a long time) The fit and finish of everything outside and inside, was perfect. The finished product exceeds any previous work I've had done. All of the work was excellent.
Ruben went over everything with me to make sure I was aware and happy with the details...including the thermostat.
