Cass did an excellent job in solving our plumbing backup problem. He immediately identified it as being caused by the air conditioning system as a source for an algae buildup being deposited from its location in the attic. This had never happened to us before. David Melgar was an awesome serviceman. He is the first and only technician, in 2 years, who properly diagnosed AND fixed the issue with our AC unit.

My recent issue was with a air conditioning system that had a malfunction; ARS and their employees could not have been more accommodating; I would like to highlight two that really stood out, Jose Peregrino & Arami Gsmary . From the very beginning I knew they cared and were going to fix the problem. Houston was reaching 100 degree temperatures and my air conditioning system fail – Jose was there 30-45 minutes of my call, he was very knowledgeable, efficient and consideration of me, my dog and home. Tunnel crew would arrive without prior alert. Would bypass my gate lock and begin work without my knowing they were there. Crew placed a smoker on top of one of my plants and buried several other plants under a tarp. Although I was told that a supervisor would be by often, I only saw him once. Shannon was amazing. Quickly and efficiently diagnosed and recommended fixes fpr the issues as well as inform me of all the services you guys offer. Will be replacing entire system soon and have apptmnt for attic consultation upcoming. Very professional. I work for Home Depot and had the opportunity to visit your north Houston location for training and a tour and was blown away. Even knowing what you guys expect of your techs and what you helped show us the value for the customer in your services, it was still blown away to see it in person. Oscar came out and diagnosed a damaged sewer line and arranged repairs (Thank you Oscar - Prompt and Professional), repair time 1 1/2 pending weather. Price was on the extreme level, and service since is none, unless I call to get a crew out. Now on day 3, no supervisors in today to talk too. They have to be emailed? ARS practices deceptive trade acts gets in on there cheep $69 add and before the tech got in my house it jumped to $215. Fakes adds just to get you to call them and get them to you home. So sad. Steve took the time to review the initial ARS paperwork where I bought the a/c and heater. He wanted to make sure that I fully understood, or remember that which was explained to me in March 2018. My concern was the filter purchase, but once it was reviewed with me I had no problem purchasing a new one as to maintain this unit at top capacity. My purchase of the surge protector of last year was reviewed as well, and by the time he left, I felt comfortable in knowing that ARS, through Steve Jinkins really cares about their customers. Again, ARS is right on schedule, and sent me another Technician who took his time to explain the functions of different parts of the a/c unit, such as the capacitor, and surge protector, and the importance of routine maintenance. Steve did a thorough job of checking the a/c in the attic, the outside unit, and the other parts. Came 90 minutes late, charged twice the standard price ..probably because I had no working toilet... and took 3 hours to do a routine job with a one piece toilet. He talked the whole time. Had to remove excess caulk as job was not neat. On the plus side he was courteous and two days in there are no problems with the job. I won't use are again. Stanley H. 07/13/19 |

Reason for the low stars for time is because I was told they would be there between 8 and 10 by the agent who arranged it. No one showed up till after 12. I had to call to find out what happened. I would think as a common courtesy someone should of called me and let me know about change of plans. 07/13/19 |
