Our long time friend the Water Heater had a gas leak and had earned the appropirate nick name. "Dan F" from ARS was honest about the options we had and was sensitive to our pain in hearing how much more water heaters had increased in price since 1994 when ARS had installed our last quality friend the Water Heater. It was not difficult to decide that we needed a new water heater. But Dan's committment to the customer continued. When he removed the new heater from the box, it was dented and without hesitation or excuses he left and got another unblemished heater and still had it installed in the allotted time. Wow!!! Amazing service! I had four different plumbers come out to quote me all said something different with an estimate of $250 to $400. I called ARS and in less then 30 minutes within walking into the house we had hot water. I and fee Of no where near what the other plumbers quoted me. Thank you technician Homer K. I am a do it yourself person, I know that pros really hate to come and clean up the mess that we do it yourselfer's create. When Don and his apprentice came out to help me get the stem out of my shower they were nice, friendly, clean and amazingly told me that I almost had it myself. My family has always used ARS for all our service needs. Lately, we have had an imbalance of airflow and temperature in our house. ARS sent someone out immediately and I was very pleased with the service and professionalism of Jasand. He was very helpful in explaining the problem and went to work immediately and solved all our issues. He explained some repair/service work we will need in the future based on what he saw in our attic. He explained everything to me in detail, but didn't "push a sale' on me. I most important thing about the service call today was that Jasand saw that we have small children and when I explained that it was the nursery where all the fridgid air goes, he was very compassionate and really took an interest to help my children be more comfortable. I was very pleased with the high professionalism of the ARS plumber, Eduardo G. who arrived to take care of our plumbing problems. He explained what the problem was with our plumbing issues, what he had to do to fix them, and then showed me that they had been fixed. I have used ARS for 20 years. Would not call anyone else when we have AC/electrical or plumbing issues. Jasand arrived on time and gave our heating system a thorough check, spotting a couple of problems and correcting them quickly.

On 10/31/2012 Alex Phalcon came to our home to inspect our heating system. He was courteous, well spoken, neat in appearance and informative about our heating units. We were very impressed with our ARS Service Specialist Domingo L. He was very effective in finding out the problem with our faucets. Two Service Specialists before him were not. I had been dealing with a clog in my kitchen sink drain all afternoon while I was sick. After taking apart all the pipes and flushing each one out myself and then reassembling everything, the sink still wouldn't drain, and I had to call a plumber. I called ARS Rescue Rooter, and they sent Walter. Walter was polite, respectful and happy to answer all the questions that I had. I typically like to fix things that break myself, and Walter was happy to let me observe what he was doing so that I could learn for next time; unfortunately, the clog was in the wall and required a professional (like himself) to repair it. Walter was quick and efficient, and provided maintenance tips on how to maintain the garbage disposal to prevent future problems. He even threw in an extra discount and offer for a home remedy to help me get over my illness quicker (unfortunately, home remedies don't tend to fix walking pneumonia). I had planned on just an estimate, but Josh was willing to help get plumbing bill down by reducing price of services (and that was on top of the business coupon I presented) so that all critical work could be completed in one service call. Oscar P. came to perform a pre winter check of our furnaces. Oscar was very professional and thorough. He explained what we might consider to have done like algae treatment for both units, return air expansionon the new unit and an air purifier for the new unit. J Jennings was thorough and nice in our checkup for our heater. Later that night air conditioner would not come on. We were miserable. He came at 9:30 a.m. next day and fixed problem. During our spring checkup for the air conditioning servicemen were great but had to come the next day . The fan was blowing the wrong way! I don't think these yearly checkups are worth it. ARS Rescue Rooter was called out on 10/10 as a commode was constantly running. The plumber who arrived shortly replaced almost every working part including the handle. Soon, the commode began running again and again. I called back and the plumber who installed the parts returned to see what could be done . . . nothing. Several days later I called a third time and yet another plumber was dispatched . . . couldn t fix it and suggested I needed a new commode! Not too happy as I had already paid $267 for the first visit. Then, I called and asked for a supervisor. That did the trick. Domingo Lopez arrived with his supervisor who replaced the only part that was left to replace which fixed the problem. I have used ARS for many years and each time the service professional has been knowledgeable, courteous, patient (with explanations of just what he was doing and what needed to be done later) and provided excellent service. This last time was no exception to that except that the professional plumber, Charles T., not only fixed the problem but made recommendations on how to end the problem and left me with an estimate of just what that will cost! When he arrived to my home he introduced himself with a friendly smile, and mentioned he was with ARS to perform the maintenance inspection. He explained what the inspection involved. I have used ARS on three separate occasions and have found their technicians to be very friendly and knowlegable of my plumbing problems. They were originally recommended through American Home Shield, my home warranty company. After their first visit I have asked for them for future repairs. They work quickly and have the parts needed on their vehicles to finish the job with usually one visit. Most recently their technician Avdyl P. was out to repair a flush valve on a toilet and a washer on my tub valve. He was excellent. I'll ask specifically for him in the future. Qualified, competent and hard working plumber. Never slowed down till the job was finished. One suggestion...I had EAS add insulation in the attic and they layed a tarp from the front door to the attic entry to protect the carpet. The plumbing division might do the same when job includes removing old dripping fixtures. An added touch to further separate ARS from the competition. Otherwise, quality work by a top notch plumber.
