Domingo was the second technician and within an hour of checking all possible issues had resolved the problem. He is professional and very courteous.I would have given ARS 5 statrs only it took 2 visits to resolve the issue and I actually had to schedule 3 appointments. Omar S s service was very good. I would have been even happier if detailed information I had given Kim, the operator, the previous evening had been relayed to Omar. Kim very efficiently and politely documented that I needed a heater tune-up, as well as replacement of a UV unit bulb, air cleaner filter, and electrostatic wire on the air cleaner (ARS had all the specs on file because they had originally installed the whole system). Unfortunately, Omar was only told that I needed the heater tune-up, so he did not have the necessary other parts, and had to take several more hours to return to the office to get them. Domingo and his assistant Nova did an excellent job in installing my water heater. My brother was here during the installation and was very impressed. Your first plumber, just like the other four who bothered to show up to fix a leaking bathroom faucet, only knew how replacing all my antique fixtures would solve my dripping problem . . . for $600! Then Homer came and did what I asked him to do: replace two seat washers of the compression faucets. It took him less than one hour to stop the leaking.
Homer is the adage of the old saying "There is no substitute for experience"! He seems to be the only plumber who knows that when a compression faucet is leaking it merely requires replacing a washer. His business card is framed in my home and I will make an effort to find him, no matter who he works for, if/when I ever need a plumber again. Homer K. 11/28/12 |

Thanksgiving Day - water leaking from the ceiling! I called ARS and got help from Kenny that night. The next day Homer K. showed up early at 8 am to repair a leak in the hot water line. He was knowledgeable and went to work right away. I had questions about how much of the line needed to be replaced. Homer took the time to show me the condition of the line and to help me make an informed decision to replace nearly all of it. Then he and his helper (his son) spent the day carefully taking out the old pipe and replacing it. There was only minimal need to cut through a ceiling in one room to get the job done. The plumber from ARS, James Brown, was really helpful and did a great job. The service is great, the plumber was really good and I had no issues. The only thing I was not super impressed with was the amount of money it cost to for the services. The long term will determine if the price was worth it, but overall the experience was good. Been using Ars for about 9 years. I have never had a problem with any of their techs. Everyone is great, well trained and easy to talk to. One tech in particular is outstanding. His name is Al. We called Eduardo Garza because our restrooms were not working. There was a blockage water wasn t flowing out.W hen he came,he took me outside and we discovered that there was a piece of brick block that covered the line so water was not flowing out. Service Specialist- Jerry K
Jerry has been our service specialist for many years, and we have always been so very pleased about the service he has given us, that I have requested if it is something that he can fix I want him to be the one to do it. He is so knowledgeable about all my appliances and how they should be working and what to do when something goes wrong. And if a part is needed, he will order it right away so we will not be without the appliance for too long- very kind and considerate and helpful. I use other appliance repair companies, but in the past few years I have been using ARS more and more- because of Jerry. The technician Oscar Paz was very efficient in the work that he did. I was scheduled for a maintence on my system and as usual something else was found that needed attention. The high costs of the required/suggested additional work that was done was not something that I was looking forward to especially with the holidays coming but I knew that the quality of the air in my home was important as we have a new grandchild coming in December. Mr. Oscar was attentive and listened to my concerns about the costs, gave me brochures to read about the suggested parts and explained everything in a way that I coul dunderstand, In the end I know the unexpected costs will be worth it. I had Bobby come in to give a second oppinion on what was given to me by another ac co. He was so honest and had nothing to lose by telling me I needed more than I did. He showed me photos of my heater when he was in the attic ..he did not need to do this...wanted to show me all was o.k. I have never had that that done before......He could have sold me a bill of goods, but said everything was fine.. now I trust him...hard to find in this buisness.
