Charles T was a courteous, friendly and efficient worker. He knew what our problem was right away and explained it in detail for us. He fixed the problem that night and called a drain supervisor to come out this morning. It was indeed what Charles thought and we now will have a crew out to replace our sewer pipe today. Avdyl has done work for us before and I m happy ARS sent him again. As in previous service requests, he arrived on time, was courteous and professional. Lam was very professional and very informative about how my A/C and heater system works. He made recommendations for parts to improve my system for air flow quality and electrical efficiency; of course, I made the recommended system upgrades and part replacements. These guys were were on site in less then two hours and replaced a water heater with the associated hoses in less then 6. Our technician, James Brown, (not the famous one) was extremely courteous,extremely neat, and knew his stuff. He didn't even complain about lugging a 15 year old, sediment filled water heater out of an attic and down the a U shaped stairs. I barely even noticed he was here. James B. 11/13/12 |

The tech that came to my home, "Henry" made my experience a nightmare. I will not elaborate on my personal experience with him because it is not my desire to tear a person down; however, if ARS continues to allow "Henry" to represent the company, that says very little about their judgement in the employee selection process. Please keep in mind that this is based on my experience. I paid for preventive care and as a result, a week later, I am now and still without heat. The heat worked before and on the day "Henry" came out. The temperature in Houston is currently 55; I turned my heat on this morning at 5:30am and the temperature inside my home at 10:45am is 66. My 3 year old grandaughter is bundled up inside and because her hands and nose are cold. "Henry" came to take care of issues before they begin but what he did was create an issue so I will have to pay more them money. He did not come here as a tech, he came here as a slaesman.I told him to his face that I was uncomfortable with him because he seemed like someone that was trying to rob me to my face. the tech was good no complaints on the guy real nice and knowledgeable the only reason why i didnt give a better rating is they were late i was told by dispatch between 9am & 1pm i got a call at 2:17 pm telling me that they were 30 to 45 min. away ars needs to work on the scheduling other than that not a bad co. Walter checked the problem I had and determined it was not a leak but a problem with my washing machine. While he was here he checked saw my hot water heater and noticed I had some problems with corrosion on the pipes and he set up an appointment for the next day for someone to come out to fix the problem. Kevin came to my house to check the heating system to get it ready for the winter. He was very neat in appearance, very polite in conversation; and most of all, very good at telling me what he was going to do, what he did, and what he felt needed to be done in the future. This is the first time I have met Kevin, but I was very impressed with him and look forward to having him so my season check-up in the spring.
Thank-you for admitting that my previous report failure was your fault. I just gave up when I thought I could not navigate the report system you had in place.

I have used ARS for years to insure my home continues to run smoothly and efficiently. The technician responsible for this is Jerry Keiger. Jerry has always been totally professional and "spot on" with his diagnosis of the problems. The last service call involved repairing my oven two weeks before Thanksgiving, to my immense

Michael Stucker, the tech, did an outstanding job. He had to work in the dark outside to correct our drainage problem, had the appropriate tools, and fixed the problem in a timely manner. Even more surprisng or ARS, the price was a good one.
Michael was very thorough in his explanation of what he did, and was a true professional.
A comment about ARS, we placed our phone call around 1:00 p.m.and was told a tech would be to the house between 2-4. We finally phoned at 5 pm and was told he was on his way. the tech arrived at 6:00 pm. I think the ARS office could have done a much better job keeping us informed of the times. Michael S. 11/09/12 |

We had a problem with no hot water and a gas leak at the fireplace. ARS (Stan H. and Nova K.) came in, quickly assessed the situation, explained what needed to be done and worked the following day, all day, until the job was completed. After, they explained what they had done and gave me instructions regarding getting the gas turned back on. They were very helpful and gave me confidence that the work would be done thoroughly. I currently have an annual service contract with ARS, so I called them recently when I had a problem with my furnace. Even though I was in no need of a quick response, they were able to get me a technician (Jennings J.) the next day. Jennings quickly diagnosed the problem, assessed the part needed and ordered it. The part came in the next day and he worked with my schedule on coming by later the next day to finish the repair. The furnace was up and running in no time. Jennings was a true professional. Technician was almost 2 hours late from the scheduled appointment time. No one called to let us know. My whole afternoon was wasted waiting on a guy to show up. When I called to find out why he had not shown up yet or why no one had called, the lame excuse I was given was, Well, he s probably stuck in traffic. Will not use this company again.
