Ongoing and consistent communication for my visit from office headquarters. The real benefit for me was having Sam A. as our service technician. He has wonderful technical skill sets, however, the real key is his personality and customer-centric nature. Our experience was top-notch all around. Would highly recommend to anyone. We replaced two old HVAC units (average age of 20 years), and the sales technicians worked with us to find a number that fit our budget. Over the course of the 6 months following installation, there were a couple issues that popped up (relatively minor), and I reached out directly to one of the sales technicians (Quincy) to get direction on where I could go to get help. He immediately got back to me and got the ball rolling to get the issue addressed ASAP. I spoke with the front office a few times, and everyone was genuinely kind and focused on finding a resolution (accountability). There's a reason this company has been around so long in DFW--from my experience, they stand behind the product they sell and the installation of these products. You know I originally called to get a quote on air duct cleaning. When Brandon showed up he advised that air ducts were really clean and wasn’t necessary. However, he provided pictures of lack of insulation and suggested replacement. I asked about possibly second A/C unit and he suggested running a split damper scenario saving thousands of dollars. He could have taken advantage of my lack of knowledge and performed service not needed and suggested a second unit. Noel gets a 5, everyone else was just the opposite of the whole customer service experience they like to talk about! I had a new central A/H installed last week from A#.Yes,installer, David and his partner did a terrific job. They were very neat and answered all questions. The real problem was the adviser Paul head. He was very very pushy. He was like a new car salesman, very very determined that I was going to do business with A#1. When I mentioned getting other estimates from other companies he really turned up the heat, pressuring me more & more. Norberto Rodriguez is absolutely the most knowledgeable, helpful, and energetic technician I have EVER had!!!!! He stayed as long as we needed him to explain everything and got the price down below a previous quote. Norberto is so enthusiastic and you can tell he loves his job. What a refreshing pleasure to have someone take time to make sure we were taken care of. The technicians that came out to install were on time, worked hard (didn't even take a lunch break), got everything done in a timely manner, and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. Brandon Warford came out to 'tune up' my 5 year old Lennox system yesterday. Of all the technicians I have encountered from A#1 Air over 21 years, he was the most professional, personable, and thorough. Truly a skilled and competent Technician! Checking the interior of my air handler, he found growth beginning, in the short time I have had this unit, with all it's new ductwork and plenum. So I will be researching a UVC light addition that can be placed below the a-coil and one just above it, to halt this, after the plenum/coil has been cleaned. He was METICULOUS in his investigation, confirming correct voltages and system pressures. And he gave me quotes for the cleaning and for adding the light system. All of which I will have to delay for other projects ongoing. This is the second whole unit I have purchased from A#1 Air, the first was a Carrier system that went strong for 16 years, then started to fail. So I got a Lennox to replace it. Don't use this company. They don.t listen to customers request. I asked them to bring a filter when they come to do service. The tech gets here looks at the unit and tells me thay don not carry that one on their trucks.
I told the tech to get out and that their compony SUCKS. This is the second time they did not have a filter or brought the wrong filter. This to me indicates that they do not listern to the customers concerns or requests. DO NOT USE THIS CUSTOMER Noel A. 03/27/21 |

We had Randy come on site to look over the furnance that had gone out. He informed us that the electrical components were shot and although we have a maintenance plan with another company he strongly suggested we contact them first to see if anything would be fixed by them and if not he would send some one back out (which he did) to quote us on all our possibilities. He went above and beyond and didnt try to sell us additional items we may or may not have needed and gave us the options of the fix or a long term solution.
