Ronaldis came to my home Monday at 1:00 am to change a breaker so I could have air conditioning. He drove an hour and a half because the other tech for my area didn't answer his phone. All this with a smile. I had called 5 other companies. I love A1 Air! Kerrie the dispatcher is top notch, she is a very valuable employee who made the experience I had go so smooth.

My AC went out on Thursday afternoon and A#1Air said they could get someone out on Friday. They updated me throughout the day as to the tech's status and he was able to make it by 9:00pm. Loren was very courteous and professional, diagnosed the issue promptly and completed the repair by 10pm. It had to have been a very long day for him, but Loren was kind, responsive and thorough.

Had A#1 air install brand new units for my house and after a year they stopped working. Then after they inspected the unit. They have to order parts for it that won't arrive until a week later. So now I am sitting at home with no AC for a week in the middle of texas summer heat.

A#1 Air has always provided me with great service (from the time they installed my new unit 5 years ago, and at every system check). I recently had a unique A/C issue that was difficult to pinpoint, and they sent Nick Sutherland to the rescue. Nick was cheerful and friendly (but yet professional). He took time to listen as I explained the issue. He not only diagnosed and fixed the problem. But he also explained what he was doing every step of the way. He really impressed me with his knowledge. The next time I need a tune up or any kind of HVAC service, I'm going to ask for him by name.

The tech was very good, and explained everything. We ordered a new HVAC unit, and the install crew came out the next day. They said they could not install the unit and left. Poor information passing to differing crews.

A1 Air sold our family a 16 SEER unit, then installed a 15 SEER unit and told us that they were the same. Called customer service, spoke to D'Andre only to be told the same story. I WOULD AVOID THIS COMPANY

First, I should start with saying my first impression/contact was with Steve (sales) who sold us on using A#1. He was kind, understanding and not pushy. As we all know "first impression" means everything, so he did his job. We agreed to replacing whole new system A/C, furnace, coils and duct cleaning. The two a/c techs were just wonderful, very polite, professional and knowledgeable. They did a great job, they deserve a raise or some recognition for there hard work. Plus, they were very careful while having to work around all my flower beds. I was worried, but then had NO worries. Great job!! Thank you

My 2 stage 20 seer ac unit quit blowing cool air. The compressor outside was not running. The tech told me that both of my capacitors were bad and would cost $450 each to replace (I found then online for less than $40 (they were fine when the other company checked them). Without opening the attic unit he told me there was a leak in it. Without really checking the charge level he arbitrarily put 3 lbs of freon in the unit. He then gave me a price of $6500 to replace the attic unit and $10000 to replace the whole system. I paid him for what he had done and called another company. Turns out that TRANE had put out a software update that had crashed a bunch of thermostats. The thermostat (TRANE XL850) was replaced ($420) and the unit is running fine. Never did the A#1 Air guy call for support (the other company talked to TRANE tech support) and I never had the feeling that the tech had any idea what the actual problem was. This is the second time that I've used A#1 Air that the tech seemed like they were more interested in selling me a whole new system when the actual problem was minor. Will never use A#1 Air again!

I would NOT recommend A1 Air for a new HVAC purchase and install. Despite Chase’s (the sales person) repeated emphasis on how much they value satisfied customers, that was not my experience. Their 100% satisfaction guarantee appears nothing more than a marketing slogan, with no real follow up or concern for the actual experience. My install two weeks ago was completed late afternoon. We left the house and returned several hours later to find the master bedroom at 79 degrees. Clearly the unit was not working. I called A1 to get someone to address the situation. After some polite insistence, they agreed to send a tech that evening. It turns out the duct work in the attic was not connected and the line from the condenser unit was leaking profusely. For the record, Alejandro, the late night service tech deserves a “10” for finding both major installation issues and staying 4 hours, until 2am to rectify the situation. No one from A1 contacted me as a follow up ( I know the issues were documented and communicated by Alejandro) and to see if I had any further concerns. Later, I received the text survey regarding my experience and rated my experience as a “1” (worst) and further indicated that I would not recommend them. No response. Nothing says “we don’t care” like not responding to direct customer feedback. Why bother asking? Finally, after two weeks I contacted the permit department to see if I needed an inspection with the city which they are supposed to coordinate. It turns out I am required to have one. I am convinced that had I not called, it would not have occurred. Overall, a really poor experience and a repeated lack of concern by A1. My next repair or install will be done with the many other reputable companies in the area

The price was also reasonable. We have used A#1 several times in the last 15 years and highly recommend them!

Desmond was very helpful in considering all options. He assisted us and looked at all options and wasn't high pressure in just trying to get his company to get the job!!. He took the time to explain everything making me and my wife feel very comfortable then came back when we got ready to get everything done. I have to admit we looked for a couple of different options but the other techs just want us to sign with them right away. It was a pleasure working with Desmond and he got the everything done and now they are putting in a full system.

First of all, I don't know if it was "Nate" who I talked to. But this morning I scheduled an electric service. A 1 Air called and told me the electrician was on the way. Nobody came. Now four hours later I've called and no one answered the "existing appt" line so I called back and got an answer and they were to call back. I'm still waiting...

Bought a new A/C unit and ducting for under my house in earlier 2021. A/C was installed quickly and professionally. The problem started after this with the ducting repair and install of new system. After two months of stalling, no one wanting to working .... ei finally was told it would not be in until Jan 2022, due to back order of supplies. I asked Kory Jackson to plz keep in the loop and if anything changed. It is now Feb 2022 and I had to call twice to find out again the status of this order. I noticed when talking Mr Jackson, I made a comment that if I don't get any service done, then I want a refund. Mr Jackson had no hesitant about the refund, just asked me to call him back Monday. Today is Tuesday and I've called twice. First call to Mr. Jackson, no answer, second call to the company. Was told their going into a meeting this afternoon (2-3) and would get a phone call after it was over. 4:40 pm no calls. I will advertise for A1 AIR on every sight I'm on.

I'm so disappointed after being a 10 year club member A1 has always done my seasonal checkups and last Saturday A salesman and i repeat SALESMAN/TECH Norberto looked at my inside unit and saw "trouble and heard" noise right of the get go ! I told him thats awful funny because i had to get up and turn the heat down and it being right there by my bedroom I've never heard any troubleing sounds coming from the blower motor before , so with a surprising look , like a deer in the headlight look on his face . He continues and goes into a spill of it saying it wont last long and WOULDN'T you know it within the next day and a half the blower motor mysteriously goes out ! He was so consumed on giving me all the plans that he could do but they were only good thru the end of January and plus he kept bringing up the one with a free water heater . Yes I called and a salesman Taylor came out and repaired it with a goodwill "price cut" due to this happening to me its normally a $4,000 dollar blower motor for $1,100 . Really ?!!! A $350.00 part and yall had the gaul to charge me $1,100.00 !!!!! Please ! So whats done is done and so is my business with your company . I will be sure to also let anyone and plenty others i come in contact NOT TO DO BUISNESS WITH A# 1 Air .

DO NOT USE THEM ON THE WEEKENDS!!! I placed inquiry for them to call me to book an appointment. The price was 39.99 but when the guy came out after he was finished he charged me 129.99. He explained to me that they need to do better by explaining the weekend prices. I didn’t blame him but I wanted to call the customer service about why they have one price on there but charge another. The guy in customer service explained to me that I had to request the price.. lol.. never before I have heard that then he compared it to walmart. Smh. Customer service manager was sooooo rude.. he over talked me and kept trying to justify. I have used this company plenty of times but NEVER again. DO NOT call for the false advertisement over the weekends.

I have used A#1 several times and they are always fantastic. A few weeks back my house was indirectly struck by lightning causing my breaker box to go out. Oscar came out and quickly got the damaged breakers replaced and had me back in business. He also gave me a good quote to replace the panel that I could pass along to the insurance company. Quick and awesome service as usual. They also had to repair a copper hose that blew due to the strike and caused all the freon to leak. Top notch company all the way.

Jose did an annual inspection of both our heaters and found a potential problem that was still under warranty. He advised HQ of the problem and we expect a call to schedule the replacement soon. He seemed quite knowledgeable about these Daiken heaters and the Nest thermostats. Just like all the other techs I've had from A#1, helpful and friendly.

A#1 has been there for 7 years since I first purchased an Amana air conditioner from them. There was someone there to listen and help me even on a Saturday evening. I have just finished a significant repair to my unit and thankfully, it was under warranty. It took two visits as the problem was diagnosed and the part had to be ordered. However I was not left in a warm house because adjustments were made for me to be comfortable. A technician named Alan Sistaite carried me through the whole process and finished with a complete repair. I was always informed about what was happening and the time he was going to arrive by the staff. I feel blessed that I chose A#1 Air for my Air Conditioning needs. I pay a maintenance fee for summer and winter visit.

In addition, he diagnosed and fixed a couple of electrical concerns we had in addition to the inspection. Hunter is an asset to the company.
