The field engineers, Dave and Jimmy, were very friendly, helpful and did and excellent job. They kept us updated as to what they were doing and then explained what they did and always asked if we had any questions. They then reviewed everything with us when they completed the job. Nick did a superb job for us! We had called to have a water heater (more then 30 yrs. old) replaced and a toilet tank water intake valve replaced. He convinced us that it was worth it to have both of our hot water tanks replaced because both were the same age & the one needing repair was in front of the other one, meaning if the other one developed a problem it would be harder to get at to repair. He also gave us a significant discount to replace both. It took him almost the entire day & in the end fix a second toilet & a leaking sink faucet as well. All the while he was courteous & cheerful despite the high heat & humidity of the day & incredibly neat in cleaning up any mess. All in all he was a good salesman as well as repairman. Mike came on time and diagnosed the problem with our refrigerator. He had the parts on the truck and completed the repair in about an hour. Mike is respectful, and professional. His work included cleaning everything related to the job and then some, much to my wife's delight. Tom called prior to the visit and arrived as expected. He was clean, neat and performed the repair in a timely fashion. He diagnosed the problem and told me the cost. I paid by credit card and was emailed a receipt for the visit, cost of repair after the 30% discount plus a one year warranty. I have always had a great experience with Universe Home Services and they have been servicing my heating and air conditioning systems for decades. What I appreciated about Rich's service of my air conditioning system today was his kind consideration as to whether I was concerned about house entry because of COVID-19. I had a central a/c tune up appointment for this morning scheduled between 8-11. Joe F arrived at 8:15 and called from the front of my house with instructions. He was courteous and professional and was wearing a mask. I waited for him to finish (roughly 15-20 minutes) on my front porch. We had our central ac replaced yesterday and Will, Sean and Tristen were awesome. They were so neat, wore protective gear and we’re very easy to work with.
