We purchased a new refrigerator and required a refrigerator/icemaker water line run from under our kitchen sink to our refrigerator alcove across the kitchen. Nick M. came to us with three different options and we chose the copper tubing and new valve vs the less expensive way we had envisioned originally. All Nicks's work is warrantied. The work was done the same day with expedience and care. Nick M is a great tradesman and more importantly communicator and is an asset to Universe Home Services and us as a resource for future home projects. Kudos and a Bravo Zulu to the whole team. We called Universe because the Central air in my son’s room seemed not to be working. Tim arrived at the allotted time and was very polite and thorough. Gary our sales rep was great. Punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. He was honest right from the start and I never felt like he was trying to sell me. Provided honest advice and recommendations and guided me through the each step of getting started.
The install guys were fantastic. They arrived on time, accomplished everything they needed to do in an organized, yet thorough fashion and when done they explained the system step by step to me and the work area and surroundings were so clean when they were done. System is fantastic and work that was done was by far top notch.

Universe has done our plumbing a few times already. Today we had Nick unclog and replace piping in our bathroom sink. He was very professional, explained what he needed to do, and gave us two options to consider. He wore a mask the entire time and made us feel comfortable with his services. First of all I use Universe for my heating air-conditioning and electric. And for me the fact that every tech that comes is courteous, caring and really listens to what I have to say. When Tom came today he was thorough, did not cut any corners, and again was courteous and very competent. We have used Universe for service in all four homes we have owned. We have always found the office staff knowledgeable and engaged. The service people are well versed in all areas of home service and can explain the situation in a way that is clear to a novice.
We highly recommend this service organization that has been here since the 1950's.

I spoke to Michelle yesterday morning and explained my Central A/C unit was not properly cooling. She said she would try to schedule a service appt as soon as possible and called me back a couple of hours later. I was able to get an appt the same night! Michelle was friendly, courteous, and understanding of my situation. Tom was scheduled between 5-9pm and arrived at 7:30. He quickly assessed my issue and charged my a/c unit to fix the problem. He determined I have a leak in my 33-year old unit (!), so the charge would only temporarily fix the issue, and on my request, called the office and scheduled an appt for me to have an estimate for a replacement unit, which I knew I would be needing soon anyway. My appt is tonight for the estimate. Tom was courteous, respectful, knowledgeable, and efficient. He had several appointments after mine, well into the evening, but did not make me feel rushed, and took the time to fully explain the issues and my options for resolution. He told me how much he enjoyed working at Universe and how great of a team they have, which I agree!. My parents have had their contracts with Universe for over 25 years and have always had fast, reliable, courteous service. Wonderful experience all around! 07/15/20 |
