Very Disappointed!!! Wasted $190 with wrong diagnosis!!! Repaired problem myself !!! Tech looked at our Refrigerator and quickly said it was a Sealed System and would be less expensive to replace unit than repair. I paid for their service call but was not convinced Refrigerator would break after only 4 years so I went online to investigate common causes of Refrigerator not being cold but Freezer was cold. Sure enough, the 2nd item listed was to check Freezer for ice build-up. Ice Build up could blocks vents to the Refrigerator and cause problem. Technician never even opened the Freezer to look but told me to buy a new Refrigerator !!! I defrosted the Freezer and less than 24 hours later my Refrigerator has been working 100% like new for 2 weeks now. 36 Degrees. Wasted $190 for Tech to tell me I needed to buy a NEW $1,500 Refrigerator. If your Refrigerator is not cold but your Freezer is cold. Save yourself $$$ and defrost the Ice Build up in your Freezer before calling for service. Nick M. 09/18/18 |

Mike arrived at my house on time and presented a very neat appearance. His pleasant personality was only exceeded by his experience, knowledge, and professionalism. He answered every question I had and diagnosed the problem with my refrigerator within a minute of his arrival. He fixed the refrigerator and left the kitchen neat and clean. From time to getting a quote on our 'Ductless ' requirements to job completion today would recommend Universal Home Services to any house owner looking for Value on their AC needs.Team arrived at the scheduled time today , work completed and tested as discussed this am , paperwork explained and all commercial related activities closed out.If Fujitsu system at any time needs support I know I can go back to Universal and have all such matters resolved.Overall very positive experience. I was able to get an appointment quickly. Tom was polite and professional. He figured out what the problem was and explained it to me and then addressed the issue. My AC broke down twice. The first time it was 6 pm and Universe did not provide service. In fact they called me the next day asked if I had a problem. This was the first time in three years I had to call Universe for service and I get rejected. The 2nd time it was at 1 pm and they showed up in an hour. 09/12/18 |

Tim was very professional and on time.I had a busy schedule that day with Doctors visits due to a recent surgery and Tim was very accommodating.He looked over my old equipment and did some calculating which central air handler and compressor would keep me comfortable on those summer hot days.The service at Universe is Superior to any other company.Bill is the owner and operator of the business and is doing and unbelievable job.I would not go with any other company due to Universes service promise.Five year parts and labor on new equipment plus energy rebates. I called Universe in the morning around 9am. By 12 noon Steve E. arrived, earlier than I anticipated. He was personable, professional, saw the problem we had, and proceeded to check everything and explain what the problem(s) were. He then fixed it (an overhead light fixture) so that we shouldn't have the problem again. He also gave us some tips to help ensure no further problems. He answered our questions professionally as well. The cost was also very reasonable. All in all we were quite happy with the service and will likely use Universe again in the future. Kudos!
