Not only did Mike M. arrive on time, he was early. While curbside, he called first to see if we needed more time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and told us what needed to be done. Once we gave the go ahead, the washing maching was soon fixed. The machine works perfectly. If need service in the future we would be happy to see Mike again. 10/12/18 |

The Universe Team was great. They listened to all my concerns about the installation of a Central Air unit and also 2 Ductless units and were able to make everything work. We are very disappointed with the service they provided as they didn’t finish the job. They were to attach two hoses outside our house. They charged us a lot of money and replaced the valves, which is great as they leaked, but neither hose was reattached, therefore neither works. I have a call into the manager for more information. I give you 5 stars. Steve responded to my home was very friendly and did a fine job troubleshooting my heating system. Mine is a millivolt steam system so it is a old boiler and Steve being a younger guy I was hoping he knew about these systems. He did and found the problem and had the boiler running in no time. Technician Joe come to my house today to service my boiler. He was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. His service was exceptional. He actually did something no previous technician had ever done. He removed every removable pieces to dust and clean them. I wish I had known about the great people at Universe Appliance Repairs 20 years ago. Paul came in and looked at all the repairs I needed, discussed them one by one, and explained the cost to me. He took his time and did not rush thru the inspection. My name is Joe I live in bellmore I had universe install a new air conditioning unit in my house about 3 yrs ago recently the motor and fan had to be replaced and both parts were under guarantee but universe charged me 800 $ for "labor" which consisted of 1 hr of work but they tell you we we're a "family" run business . Not sure how they charge families 800$ labor for a hrs worth of work I guess as it's going in their families pocket it's ok! Thanks universe I would not recommend anyone using them shop around you can find a honest family business elsewhere. 09/28/18 |
