Our AC unit suddenly stopped working in the middle of a 100 degree heat wave, and we were very concerned about being able to have the problem diagnosed and addressed in a timely manner because of high demand. We called Unique Indoor Comfort & Heating this morning based on recommendations from friends and were so appreciative that they could schedule us for same day service, and that Dimos T showed up within the time window provided. Dimos was excellent, professional, and courteous in explaining the problem and offering us choices in how we wanted to address it. After Dimos' visit, we now have our AC back up and cooling down our house! We had a great experience with Unique Indoor Comfort, from the initial phone call to the check-in after install. Mike P. came out to our house and went over all of the difference options that we could do to better our issues with our HVAC system. He was also was available by e-mail with my questions afterwards and came back out to the house to go over some of my questions and even come up with other options. Then our installation with Wes and Kevin went very well. They did an amazing job with the install, as well as cleaning up after themselves and showing us how to use the unit. Alex A. and his assistant Estefano are highly skilled, well-trained professionals who worked very hard to ensure that our system was installed correctly, carefully, and on schedule. (They also were exceptionally courteous and friendly!) A week or two before the work began, the men's supervisor, Brandon, spent a good bit of time going through our house with us, explaining in advance which items he thought we would need to move around (in other words, a forced "spring cleaning!). Once the actual work began and as it progressed, Alex addressed each of our questions and concerns in detail and kept us apprised about their progress. We would also like to enthusiastically commend Dante, our salesperson, who not only explained our options and the installation process, but even stopped by during the installation to ensure that things were going smoothly. He easily diagnosed our issue, provided a short term solution, and delivered some hard news in a professional manner. Dam installed our new AC unit and he was considerate, thorough and hard working. He explained everything that he was going to do and how he needed to make a structural change to accomodate the new unit. Afterwards, he cleaned up every bit of dirt, dust and sign that he worked in and outside our home. He even replace the pavers he had to move! Saturday, July 6 was a very hot and humid day, not to mention the number of storms that came that day. Wes Reemer and Kevin Niewood arrived before 8 and got to work right away. They wore booties on their feet and placed drop cloths everywhere they had to walk and work. This was important to us because we had new carpeting recently installed and obviously didn't want to track in dirt as they were inside and out. They were most pleasant, professional and were nice gentlemen. Wes went over everything that he would be doing, where he is placing the unit and the refrigerant lines and even when he thought they would be finished. He was right on target with his time and did everything as he said. They hardly took any kind of lunch break and we felt so bad for them as the heat that day was so intense. While they finally accepted a cold drink, they for the most part didn't stop at all. At the end, Wes explained to 2 senior citizens all the functions of the remote, which can be quite daunting; going over every thing we needed and assuring us that while we have all these functions what is essential and where we can find it in the manual. Wes truly went above and beyond and Kevin who worked with a arm full of poison ivy always had a smile on their faces and were great to deal with. I would recommend them highly. Wes R. 07/07/19 |
