We are very impressed with Judd Cushing from Tipping Hat Plumbing Heating & Electric. Judd arrived on time as scheduled, introduced himself, was very professional and efficient. Judd assessed our problem, immediately replaced our smoke alarm, ran a test to make sure it was operational, and completed our service in a very quick manner, Judd is very personable, and polite. Everything was great except the pricing. I have had 3 other quotes that came$350 to $400 under what your company quoted. No one person was meaner or nicer than the other and all gave the same information with different pricing. That price range is worth me waiting an extra day for install. 02/08/17 |

He is the kind of guy you would feel comfortable leaving in your home to work even if you were not at home. Jeff showed and explained everything he did and made sure I understood. Competent and confident. While he was working, he smelled gas and showed me where I had a leak on my water heater with his gas sniffer. He fixed that for me while he was there. I liked the fact that he showed me the price book and was still able to offer me a discount for the work. Great service and no pressure. I did not have an emergency just a couple of questions about things I might do. I stopped by the office on the way home and chatted with Jessica and made an appointment for the next day. Judd came right on time and we discussed my projects. He was relaxed, personable, knowledgeable and took the time to answer several question about other electrical things that came up in our discussion. In the end, I decided against my original project. when it rains it pours!! first I needed help winterizing my cooler after being ripped off buy another company! I came across Tipping Hat and was quite pleased --- then drip drip in the basement-- Tipping hat to the rescue "sorry but I only have 2 yrs experience! I'd like some one with more experience to come out and look at problems I see" honesty!! and the next day here they were and on time! I first met Justin when he came out on a service call for loss of power. I had tried every troubleshooting thing I could think of including checking the breaker in question. Justin quickly discovered that the breaker just needed to be pushed a little further to the on position thus avoiding some crazy expensive repair. I then asked him to give me a quote for expanding my breaker panel, installing a 50 amp service plug for my RV, running a couple of new outlets in my basement, and running two new circuits into my garage. His price seemed reasonable and I felt comfortable letting him do the work. Long story short, Justin Ben and Tim did a great job, exceeding my expectations. Chad came to my home today to install faucets for two sinks, a shower, and to inspect and certify the furnace. His attention to detail, customer service skills and knowledge of his job were all spot on. He took the time to educate me on things I should be looking for in the future and completed the entire job without any issues or concerns. I have not used Tipping Hat before but will definitely use them again for future plumbing and HVAC needs! Thank you Chad, it was a pleasure to have you working in our home today.
