We’ve had an absolutely fantastic experience with Tipping Hat. Not only we’re they able to come out the same day initially, but the scheduling of follow-up appointments went swift and seamless. We needed a new HVAC system. On the day of installation, everyone arrived in time, we were introduced to the team and Chappy and Tyler went to work, followed by Britton for the electrical work. All of them were extremely professional and corteous, working tirelessly in the heat (it reached 99 that day) for looooong hours. They gracefully endured our daughters’ curiosity and patiently and readily answered any questions we had, as well as checking in frequently to give us updated and explain what they were doing. It was my pleasure to work with Eric on installing my new furnace, AC and water heater. He is the only reason that I hired Tipping Hat. He is genuine and knowledgeable. Alden and Edwin each have an impressive work ethic. With the assistance of Tyler, Kyle and John, they installed a new AC unit outside and a new furnace in The Dreaded Crawl Space. Spotted areas of concern that may be a problem in the future and left me with a list of those areas and the cost to repair. The entire Tipping Hat crew replaced our 25 /- yr swamp cooler with a new system did a great job. They were communicative, interactive, friendly and helpful. The initial cost estimator showed up to check progress, a completion inspection performed by a senior installer both showed up to help with the process. The installers and electrician were great and diligent in the replacement. Very good service and result. Would recommend to a neighbor/friend. Only complaint (ended up not being a big deal for us) would be a postponement and slip of the planned schedule install date by about 2 weeks. Fantastic company. Customer service is top notch starting with the Tiawana in the office to the whole team ( Billy W, Erin L, Corey M, Chris D. x2) that came to my residence to install a new air conditioning unit, new furnace and an attic fan. Everyone was very polite and knowledgeable and worked extremely hard as Erin and Corey were there for 10 hours making sure the system was working flawlessly
Even when we had a slight hiccup with the pilot light being turned off for the water heater and had a cool shower they had a tech back at the residence the next day to fix it.
I would highly recommend this company for any of your HVAC needs. They use premium brands and have great warranties on them.
Update:. 2 weeks later. We are getting alarms on our control panel that the AC refrigerant has low pressure. Not good considering it's been 100 degrees outside. So only running attic fan which isn't doing much in the heat. It's now 90 degrees in the house. Called, left emails, couldn't leave voice mails as mailbox was full. When we finally got thru the soonest they could get someone out is a week later. Will leave an update after they come back out. I dont mean to sound like a "Karen" and I know HVAC companies probably get 100s of calls during the extreme heat weather.
Okay. I am not an HVAC person. The installers are just that.. Installers. They told me to keep the humidifier on with AC running. After the techs came back out for this last visit I was informed that is incorrect as they are counterbalancing each other. The service techs were very friendly coming out, added more freon to the AC unit as that was the problem for the low pressure alarm. There were no leaks so maybe just not enough was added and then we had a string of 100 degree days didnt help along with the AC and humidifier working against each other.
I will say every time we have had techs come over, our pilot light for the water heater always seems to be turned off by them and we dont know this until its show time and we have semi warm water.

The original technician recommended an overhaul of our furnace, based on what he saw during the initial visit. When the subsequent technician (Austin) came to our house to perform the service, he actually opened up the furnace and examined it in detail. Based on what he saw, he realized that the initial service recommended was not needed, and instead said we should just do a tune up (which was then done). This saved us more than $200. I had an old air conditioning unit that died and needed replacement. After calling around and getting quotes I chose to go with Tipping Hat. I found the time and quote process performed by Michael to be very detailed with all information on the replacement service, cost, and warranties to be laid out nicely. Michael did an excellent and professional job explaining details and answering all questions I had regarding cost, payment plans, and service warranties. On the day of install, Sean and Ryan were the service pros to perform the dirty work. They both did an outstanding job keeping my house clean and free of damage as they tore out the existing units (had furnace done at same time) and carried in new units. They both were very polite and worked diligently. Sean and Ryan took the extra time to entertain my questions during their progress. They both also did a wonderful job being friendly to our dogs as they were very curious to everything going on! The work space was cleaned and made to look like a professional job had been performed. The professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness of this staff was phenomenal and stands out as a superior quality I did not witness during the price and quote process from other companies.
