We asked Tipping Hat to install a new Furnace/AC system at our house. The did a great job from beginning to end. They were professional and did it all in a very respectful and helpful manner. Excellent and informative followup on heater installation problem. Josiah found the problem quickly and throughout his work explained the correction and heater operation patiently and clearly. One night, sitting in our apartment and noticed a very strong smell of eggs. I immediately thought of natural gas, and went to where our water heater and furnace are located, open up the closet and with a super strong smell of natural gas.
The next morning, my landlord called tipping hat, and Josiah was out within a few hours. Not only was he super friendly and personable, but he was kind enough to show me some of the things I can do myself to check exactly what the issue is next time, no matter what house I’m living in. I had originally thought it was our heater because I was using our heat so much that night, but Josiah figured out that it was actually our water heater. I never would’ve guessed, but thanks to him everything was fixed within a few hours, after he also took time to clean the 16-year-old furnace.
Truly a stellar guy, and because of him I’ll be keeping the Tipping Hat business card in my back pocket to use if we have any issues in the home and my wife and I are currently building! Josiah P. 04/14/21 |

Matt Venable did an excellent job in diagnosing my humidifier problem by locating a disconnected wire in the control panel. I was so impressed with the work that both Dan Niemeyer and Jordan Wellborn did today that I just have to let you know, personally. The cut off valve for our entire house is in our crawlspace (VERY inconvenient) and then right before we moved into our place, over a year ago, the existing owners had to put in a new water heater. They obviously did it on the "cheap" because it was not installed according to code so Dan & Jordan had to re-do that as well as bringing a cut off valve upstairs where I can reach it, if necessary. This involved installing a new water line from the original cut off. They were to be here at 8am this morning and at 8:01am Logan called me to tell me that they were running late because Ferguson's was slammed this morning so it would be more like 8:30am before they arrived..........at 8:27 they pulled in!!!! Jay Owen met them here to explain what all needed to be done and they got to work immediately. I was most impressed by their cleanliness and organization. They were very efficient and explained exactly what they were doing prior to doing it. They worked the entire time they were here and there was no useless chatter between them so they obviously take their jobs and responsibility seriously. Extremely nice young men and as I've said, I was most impressed both with their demeanor and with their actual work. If you have any way of rewarding employees that do an exemplary job, these two deserve it! Kudos and a huge THANK YOU to Dan and Jordan!!!! I am so glad to have found Tipping Hat and have written reviews on both Google & Review Buzz......I would have also done one on YELP but for whatever reason I couldn't get YELP to respond to my request to post a review! Plus I am telling all of my neighbors of the great job they did. Ezekiel & Jeremy were both very knowledgeable about their job. They installed a rooftop swamp cooler and a water heater. Everything works flawlessly.
They were both very polite and had professional attitudes making sure I was getting what I needed and wanted. Treating people with respect seemed to come naturally to these young men.

I have used several plumbing companies over the years and I can say with conviction that Tipping Hat is notably superior in customer service, diligence and quality of work. I have had them install a water heater, clearing pipes (two different times), and replacing outdoor faucets (two of them). Should any other plumbing issues arise they will be the first company I will go to. They are quite reasonable and will do what they can to gain your business. Our first indication of a good company was from our friendly conversation with River giving us his 110% undivided attention and expertise.
Secondly, the gentleman that serviced our needs was friendly, very professional and helped us with our tankless hot water issue.
We now plan to move forward and purchase a new one to be installed.
We would recommend Tipping Gat and the prices are affordable!

This company did an awesome job installing my air conditioner and replacing my heater. They were very friendly and worked their butts off! They did everything in one day including removing my old broke down swamp cooler from the roof! Sean, who I originally got the estimate from, walked me through every step of the process including a finance issue that he had resolved within 1 day of me notifying him. I just wanted to take the time to thank you for the above-referenced tech Josiah Pierson... he was at my house last Wednesday to check out my furnace as part of my Prevention plan and I have to say I've dealt with quite a few techs for various appliances and Josiah was far above any I have encountered as far as thoroughness and attention to detail, excellent follow up and communication skills.. when I did not understand something he was telling me he patjently went over it to clarify what he was saying...and just overall politeness, respect and consideration for the customer..
