Tj Leyva did an excellent job fixing our kitchen sink that was filled with fats and grease it was very clogged . He knew so many tips and tricks . They were very good about explaining the problem and the options to fix as well as ways to save for future service of the septic system. They also didn't charge me for everything that I knew they could have as a courtesy for repeat business, which is nice. I can't speak to the quality of work because we didn't get that far. I needed a new water heater. I was quoted a price of $2695 if I would join their diamond club for $148 yearly. It would be higher without that membership. I politely declined that totally outrageous offer and went with a reputable local company. I now have a new brand name, 50 gallon water heater for $1100. The technicians that serviced our septic tank were professional and did the work within time frame given. I called and was able to get service the same day. I needed to have a shower faucet repaired and put it off for far too long since I knew it would involve cutting into a wall and the plumber I have had for years had retired. He recommended calling The Pink Plumber so I finally "bit the bullet" and found that not only did this need fixing but my hot water heater was preparing to quit. Todd from The Pink Plumber had already completed installing a new faucet and disposal in the kitchen and a new sink faucet in the same bathroom so I trusted him to get these things done too. I was able to schedule everything so that my painter would be able to coincide timing to open and then close the wall afterward, making this as painless as possible.
Todd installed the new water heater, patiently answered all my questions, and the shower is now working just as it should. Before leaving, Todd installed a new shower head I had planned to install myself (thank you!) and the hot water is running hotter and clearer than it has been in a long time. They called early to let us know we could get an earlier appointment if we wanted too and we were able to make that time which opened up the afternoon for us. I contacted The Pink Plumber to check out a loud, scary noise from the pipes when turning on the hot water in the shower. I also needed to have a water line run for a new refrigerator. Neither job turned out to be an easy fix. Luckily for me Ephantus K. was the plumber who got the job. He was polite, professional, and efficient. He checked everything that could have been the cause and discovered the specifics. His work included correcting the cause of the pressure of the hot water tank that was dangerously high, replacing an outdated line for the refrigerator, correcting the botched line and connections from the last owner, replacing two necessary but rusted out shutoff valves for the water in the kitchen and whole house, repairing a damaged part on the hot water knob in the shower that contributed to the noise. I was close to having a real catastrophe of bursting pipes with no way to shut off the water and had no idea. He did a great job in explaining all he did and why, showing before and after pictures since my house has a crawl space, and not stopping until all was restored. I was more than satisfied. Bryan had a very challenging job of installing a new gas line from my basement through a very small crawl space to a small area in garage. After calling around I realized that getting my septic pumped was going to start around $300; regardless of this advertised $149. Since it had been over 10 years I wasn't expecting it to be cheap. Cody & Aaron arrived, explained the procedures, got to work & did a great job. He and his assistant were excellent. His knowledge and expertise is a very welcome site, compared to the Hambys technicians, I have been dealing with for the past three years or so! Work done was OK. I thought that the pressure cleaning of the drain pipe was not good. They could only go 10-13 feet up the drain pipe from the septic tank, the reason was that is all the hose they had. Then after they left I looked at the itemized bill that was emailed to me. (Only way you can get the bill) The charge for that was over $354. I believe that the price is VERY VERY high for cleaning 10-13 feet of pipe. The last company that did the same thing did not charge anywhere near that price and they cleaned a lot more of my drain pipe. Tim A. 10/30/19 |

Cody and David were very professional and explained very carefully what they were doing and why it needed to be done. I thought the charge was going to be 150.00 and quickly it went to 350.00. They gently explained what the problem was and I gave permission to have the work done. The final bill was a tad over 7,000.00. What a shock!!!!! I now know that I avoided a big disaster in my house if the work was not done I now have a state of the art septic system and no worries that I will not have an over flow into my house. I guess this gives me great peace of mind. They were so kind, thoughtful and considerate. Way overpriced, got ripped off big time. Charged $1500 for a 1 hour job total with replacing a sump pump in basement. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. I was dumb enough to let it happen to me. Cost of pump probably 200 and they made a quick 1300 on me for a job i could have done if I would have just researched how to do it. My bad. Also, the manager Jeff Ramos refused to call me back after leaving 2 messages and I finally tracked him down where he sounded like a stoner who didn't care about anything. Said "well that's the price so we can operate our company or some lame excuse". Other plumbers would have charged 800 to do this job after research. Not to mention they have already been found guilty for violating the state's fair business act and had to pay 102,000 in restitution. I guess now I am paying for some of that restitution. I recently when from two hole sink to one hole sink which required some plumbing work to get the disposal and everything lined up for the one-hole installation. Taylor from Pink Plumber did the work and he was fast and extremely informative. A bit pricey but they know their stuff. I'm fine to pay more to get it done right.
