The plumber was courteous but the price was $1995 to replace a 40 gl water heater. Based on Home advisor this job should have been $800-$1000. They also charged me $59 to come give me an estimate. Bought a house about 2 months ago. Saturday morning I heard a toilet bubbling what the dog was getting a bath. I ran downstairs and water was pouring all over the garage. I called Pink Plumber and they sent Brian out Sunday morning. He was in and out in about 4 hours after digging 4 feet down in Georgia clay and lifting the lids on our septic tank. It was completely filled up, completely! When we bought the house the sellers stated it was pumped two years ago... that information couldn’t have been farther then the truth.

The service technician Ephantus is great. His people skills are excellent, he communicates very openly advising us of what he needed to do, the sequence of steps he was taking as well as bringing to our attention any concerns he felt we should be aware of. He was knowledgeable and respectful. Ephantus was aware of the party we were preparing for that evening and worked with us in a way to ensure he did a quality job and we were able to meet our own timelines for the party. Great experience. Had a waterline leak over the weekend TJ came out on Sunday night and then made adjustments to his schedule to fit me in 1st thing in the morning. Full replacement of PB line (I couldn't believe this stuff was still out there!). He was pleasant and very good about explaining to me what needed to be done and what he was going to do. They came out first thing Monday morning with trencher and line and got the whole job done in 3 hours. He had the ability to make the necessary decisions on the spot and not have to check in with supervisors. I felt comfortable and very happy with his professionalism and knowledge. I was pleased with the individual and process for developing an estimate. However, when I decided to add more work to the estimate and also had some questions, I could not get a response. I made two phone calls about six days apart and the receptionist said she would get in touch with the technician right away and that he would return my call. I cannot say enough nice things about Preston and Eric who arrived quickly and went right to work fixing my septic broken pipe. Unlike many service providers I’ve had, they did respect my property, shrubs, plants, etc., and not one thing was damaged. They carefully inspected the issues I had, and very carefully, and honestly, explained my various options, and never tried to upsell me on things I didn’t need. They were always well spoken, polite, curtious, and respectful the whole time they were here. This was my second time in less than a year that I had two guys come from The Pink Plumber, and without a shred of doubt, would recommend the company to my closet friends. I will not have any else do my plumbing but the great people at the Pink Plumber here in Atlanta. They are very professional, very courteous, and take care of your worst problems immediately. Twice now this year I have had to call them with major plumbing problems in my old house. In March another company would not come out on a Saturday even though I had used them for a couple years. Pink Plumber said they would have someone out in a hour and they did. Their rates are very fair and got the problem solved . This last time the hot water heater blew! Water every where, no problem Darrin knew what to do! He did a great job and explained what he had to do took pictures before and after. I highly recommend Darrin for any plumbing problems.

I want to start out by saying we had excellent service from Brian D. He worked with us through a couple of issues with the scope of work and pricing. He was professional and did a great job. We will be sure to request him next time we need service.
The 4 starts instead of 5 is because we went over everything top to bottom when getting our quote. Don't have a name of who we spoke with originally but we described exactly what our pumping system was, how large each tank was and where it was located on our property. This company under a previous name installed our system. We wanted to be 100% clear on what need to be done and what the cost would be with no surprises. The price when the truck arrived didn't match what we were quoted but as I mentioned before, Brian was very professional, worked with us and the end result was a satisfied customer at a fair price. I called the Pink Plumber to replace my hot water heater and they scheduled me for an appointment the next morning between 10 and 2 and told me they would call an hour prior to the arrival of my technician. Not only did they call an hour before, but also 30 minutes before to give me an update, the technician arrived at 10:10, exactly when they said he would. My tech was very friendly and professional from the start (put on protective shoe covers when coming into the house, protective covers on the wheels of the hand truck, etc...) to finish. As I have an insurance rider that covers the hot water heater, the insurance company needed documentation, my tech took pictures and wrote a brief description of the issue and e-mailed it to me so that I could forward it to the insurance company and also put his contact info on there in the case they needed to talk with him directly. TJ responded to our call on Labor Day Weekend while ever other 24 hr service we called indicated it would be Tues or Wed before they could get there. He came late on Friday and made sure our issue was addressed before leaving in the early evening. Additionally he gave me a fair price on a water heater and installed it on a Saturday despite it not being an emergency. He was professional, polite and cleaned up the work area. Pink Plumber replaced our water heater 3 years ago and we were happy with the service. A few days ago I discovered water underneath the water heater and could hear the sound of spraying water. I called PP and Michelle arrived less than 3 hours later. She quickly diagnosed that the pressure tank had failed and sprung a leak. That was a quick and easy fix, but in the process of checking out water pressure, Michelle determined that our system's pressure relief valve was not working and our house was operating at more than 150 pounds of pressure. That repair was made and we're good to go. I would rather not have to pay for plumbing repairs, but when I need a plumber, I'll call PP again. Michelle K. 08/24/19 |

This company may be reputable but they will rip you off!!! Their estimate was $622 to replace PRV, expansion tank and repair toilet. I called for a second opinion. Paid $350 to an independent master plumber for same work. Joshua R. 08/24/19 |
