This company sent a plumber to replace a fill valve in one of my toilets. The most expensive fill valve I could find at Home Depot is around $27. The Pink Plumber, however, wanted to charge me $380 to replace this valve. Yes, seriously. I complained, so the plumber suddenly realized he could do the job for "only $270." I had received quotes of $150 from local plumbers, but they couldn't come out on the same day. If you want to be charged $380 to replace a $27 fill valve, then this is a business that will certainly gauge you. I won't ever recommend them to anybody. P.O. I. 02/17/23 |

"Ouch", pipe busted and water everywhere. Geoff Small was the technician who changed out my hot water heater.
He arrived on time and was very professional in every way. He answered ALL my questions, and explained in detail the process. He even cleaned up afterwards.
Excellent customer service. I consider him an asset to your company and his profession.

I am posting this review 4 years later to really give an accurate review of my experience with Pink Plumber and my service. Nick came to my house in 2018 and did an outstanding job with repairing my septic tank. He was very thorough with his explanation as to what was causing the problem. I had a plumbing emergency and other places I called said the soonest they could come out was 3 days later for an emergency call. The Pink Plumber got someone out to me the same day which was impressive because I called them after noon. I don't typically write reviews but have to recognize two folks for their excellent service. First, Ashley who arranged the appointment during the initial call was great and called me to let me know each time the plumber was on the way. Second, an experienced plumber showed up at my house. Jim diagnosed the problem, was upfront about what work needed to be done, worked hard to fix the problem and most importantly did really EXCELLENT QUALITY work. Shame. Shame. The Pink Plumber came to the house and told us there was no leak when there was clearly water pooling in the yard. He just didn’t want to do a dirty job, and instead of being honest charged me for a service call. Of course there was a leak, and when I called the Pink Plumber to come back out and fix the leak, suddenly there is no one to call me back. Thankfully it’s easy to cancel CC payments, but I’d hate for anyone else to be misled by lazy plumbers. Fadil arrived on time (actually a few minutes early!). He was friendly, efficient and thorough. He quickly assessed the damage, fixed the problem and gave us an honest assessment of future work that will need to be done, but he didn't try to upsell us. Fadil was knowledgable and also provided cards for other companies we'll need to work with (mold mitigation, water removal, etc.). I will use Fadil and the Pink Plumber for any future needs. Nick and "Katie" (I can't remember the helper's name, but it may have been Daryl. . .or maybe Bryan?) came out and inspected my septic system. I thought it was going to be hundreds of thousands of dollars, but they fixed it for nearly nothing. Very professional, very sweet to my 8 dogs, and just an all around a great experience. I hope I have plumbing problems sooner than later so they come back to visit. I'm pretty lonely since the whole carolina-virus quarantine put me out of work and my wife stays locked up in the attic sewing face masks for the dogs. Thanks Bryan and Nick. Or Katie? Whatever. I am honored to share my experience with Preston Stover. This young man demonstrate a work ethic and professionalism that is rarely found, especially when it comes to jobs that most people think is less important. Preston was very detailed in explaining while educating me on the workings of a septic tank. It was clear that he was passionate and dedicated to making sure that my husband and I were completely satisfied with the service provided. Justin and his partner were great! Very thorough and explained everything so that I could understand the problem and what my options would be.
My only negative comment regards scheduling. I was given a window of when someone would arrive and was called to be told they were running behind. Later I received another call, near the end of my window, and was told no one would be coming out. While I was frustrated, particularly after taking off of work, I was re-scheduled for first thing the following day. I was told I would receive a call as early as 7 am and someone would be out by 8:00, which turned out to be 9:30. My frustration is that an expectation had been given both days and was not met. I had used pink plumber through home advisor to fix a shower head that would leak water despite the faucet being closed. Michelle replaced the shower spout/stopper but had to come back because I was no longer getting hot water. I noticed there was a gap in the faucet and the wall after she replaced it that wasn't there before. I mentioned I was concerned that water would leak and cause damage to the walls. Well she insisted there wouldn't be a leak. 6 months later, I have water damage to my Walls and called another plumber to look at it. He fixed the gap because it was placed backwards. Our dishwasher wasn't working so the Pink Plumber sent Mr. Darrin R. to our home within an hour of our request. Mr. Darrin was friendly and knowledgeable and after patiently listening to my horrible explanation of what was happening, he knew exactly where to start and what to fix. It took just a few minutes and the dishwasher works flawlessly again! Saved us the cost of purchasing a new unit, and the price we paid for Mr. Darrin's services were much less than expected and lower than other plumbers we have used in the past. I felt like I was not being taken advantage of and was told about the work that needed to be done in order to make sure my system would run and last for years to come. I had not planned on spending the amount of money that I did when I initial set up to have my septic tank pumped. My service tech Timothy keep me informed of the work being done and why it was necessary and why he recommended it. I will never use this company again. I was quoted a price of between $149 to $249, however once the technician came out he said it would be $580. I asked him why because my tank is not over flowing he stated because i have greese and he sees a few a baby wipes. I told him we do not have a baby in our home nor do we pour greese in our sink. I told him i was willing to pay $400 but not $580. He would not budge. I feel Pink Plumber price hiked to make more money. I would not recommend them to anyone. Cody H. 11/29/19 |

Todd was great when he came. Professional and fast. But I had an appointment for 2 days earlier and they no-showed. I didn't find this out until I called at 6 pm to find out when the plumber was arriving and I got a "we do our best....." response. Four hours I waited and no one showed! I tried to contact Pink Plumber internally but never heard back from them. Not great customer service on their end. Not sure I would use them again, as a result of this. Todd A. 11/25/19 |
