Setting up an appt was easy, three days out for an HVAC check up (first in 9 years). They called the day of ahead of time letting me know exactly when they would arrive. Paul the tech was very polite, explained the possible issues my furnace might have in the future in an easy to understand way and the associated costs. Didn't try to do any unnecessary work. I called Sunshine Plumbing after another plumbing company botched a repair and damaged a valve behind the wall of my shower. The damage left the shower unusable and required the water to the house be shut off. Sunshine sent Brett. Brett was polite, professional, and knew exactly what needed to be done to fix the problem. He also provided suggestions as to how I could keep the cost of the job as affordable as possible. He explained exactly what he was going to do, completed the work quickly, and cleaned up thoroughly. And Sunshine charged me significantly less than the company that did the work that rendered the shower unusable. We originally needed to replace two water heaters. I had three people come out and give me bids. The company I chose to work with ended up calling me the day of install to tell me they were no longer doing plumbing due to losing their master plumber. I was not super impressed with he other two bids I got so asked for a recommendation from the company that cancelled. They had excellent things to say about Sunshine so I called. They were very responsive and friendly on the phone. Casey (who is no longer with the company), came out and, unlike the other companies that I got bids from, suggested we look into getting a tankless water heating system. The bid for a tankless was just a tiny bit more than 2 water heaters so we chose to make the switch. There was a line item on the bid that should not have been. One of the owners called to explain the error to me and removed it - which made the bid even more appealing! Casey came out and installed the unit and we have had no regrets - especially with the much longer life expectancy of a tankless vs. tank system. While it was inconvenient, we were thrilled the first company we chose to get tanks from cancelled. Shortly after getting the tankless installed, we had a small leak on our main line right near the foundation. Jeff Long came out on this call. It was later in the day. He offered to try and fix it right then, but was concerned that the parts stores were closed - just in case there were any issues. Since the leak was not major, Jeff came out a couple days later to fix our leaky main line. He also relocated our sprinkler shut off valve so we can have the house water off yet still have the sprinklers run (when we are on vacation). Coincidentally, our tankless stopped working the night before Jeff came out. After much trouble shooting and cutting pipes, he determined that water was in our exhaust vent for the tankless. Turns out, our youngest son (or his friends) who were playing in the sprinklers that day had put some water in the pipe. While my husband and I were quite frustrated, Jeff handled the situation like a pro. He got rid of all the water and installed a different end on the exhaust so it would not be so easy for water to "accidentally" enter again. Definitely much more work than he expected that day! I was the last job scheduled for that day, and Jeff was running a bit late, so the office called me to let me know ahead of time so no problem. We set an appointment online first thing and they had someone out by 1030 in that morning. Their technician Paul arrived. He was very curious, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He walked us through his troubleshooting and explained the different things he was looking at and for and why. He then gave us a few options and in the end we wound up ordering a full A.C. unit, coil nd furnace to be installed and it only took Kristie int he office a week to get us on the books which worked out great for us! This went much better than expected. The faucet only had to be tightened, which I pondered doing myself. However, I am not the most handy homeowner, and I tend to break things. Instead of risking a broken faucet and/or pipe and potentially flooding my backyard and basement, I decided to purchase a faucet replacement. Jeff L came out, checked the faucet, and determined it only needed to be tightened. My front faucet had the same problem but to a lesser degree, so he tightened that one as well.
