Roberto fixed a problem that four other techs from various companies could not. Friendly, with a positive can do attitude. Willing to go the extra mile and actually contacted tech support for the product. Working as a team with tech support he was able to run down and fix a problem that others could not diagnose. Jason and Bret did a great job for us. They were very professional, personable and knowledgeable, and their work was fast and efficient, but not rushed. The price was reasonable, the Angie's List coupon deal helped quite a bit and they did very good work. They obviously knew exactly what they were doing and they took their time to do it right. A first-rate job! We found Sunshine Plumbing through Angie's List, and we're glad we did; Jason and Bret couldn't have been better, and they made this a very pleasant plumbing experience. Our technician called 30 minutes before arriving (greatly appreciated on a Saturday morning), explained our issue in depth and gave us the options that were available. The service was outstanding but the Angielist ad was very deceiving as the add did not cover the services they actually required. It was for just a standard faucet and did not cover frost free replacement so they had to up charge me but they worked diligently to get me a reasonable, discounted price. Our hot water heater died overnight and we called Sunshine first thing this morning. Susan in the office got us set up for a service call between 1 and 3 pm today. They called back and asked if they could come earlier which I was thrilled about. Rocky called to tell me he was on his way and we quickly talked about the problem. I was so impressed with Rocky - he could not have been more friendly, courteous, and professional. In less than 3 hours, he got us a new water heater and installed it. After smelling an awful smell for weeks and weeks, Justin came to my house to do a drain cleaning. After looking at my property he figured out that my wife with a very serious case of dimentia was disposing of things in a bucket and covering it with a rag. Justin was so kind to dispose of this and make me aware of what was going on, and didn't try to sell me on a drain cleaning which I was 100% willing to do due to the smell. Thank you Justin! Frank was very punctual, very pleasant, and highly skilled. He told us that our disposal was a very good one and was working well, but the pitch to the drainage pipe from the disposal which extends across under our kitchen sink cabinet was positioned at a negative slant causing a back flow so that debris was never thoroughly flushed away which contributed to the odor. Frank worked up an estimate which we agreed to even though it seemed high. He got right to work on the drainage pipe system and in a short time, the work was completed. The disposal and drainage system emptied quickly and the odor was gone. Frank was happy to answer any and all of our plumbing questions about other possible issues in our house. Frank was very nice and highly skilled. He was very honest, and told us that we didn't need a new garbage disposal as we had thought. Rather, the pitch of the sink's drainage pipe was causing some back flow which led to the foul order and residue in the bottom of our disposal. Frank went right to work leveling the drainage pipe and making sure the issue was resolved and that no drips or leaks were present. He was happy to answer all of our questions and to help us understand what had caused the problem in the first place. He was very pleasant and we were very impressed with his work. We purchased a "deal" for $49 for a plumbing service call plus $25 credit toward any necessary repairs. Sunshine Plumbing Heating Air contacted us within 24 hours to schedule the work and got us on their schedule in less than 7 days, which was appreciated. The service technician showed up on time and was professional looking. The technician completed an inspection and determined that the leaks were due to the poor initial installation of the the drains (not by Sunshine Plumbing Heating Air). The service technician was polite, thoroughly explained our options for repair, completed the repair quickly and provided a warranty. The service technician also provided some additional tips regarding general home plumbing care which was greatly appreciated. The "fair" rating on price was because the repair was more costly than anticipated based on the amount of time and materials need to complete work. I would recommend this service provider. Everything was fine. Sticker shock always seems to be the jolting factor with HVAC service and repairs. Small items that cost a lot of money.
