I used Sunshine last fall to replace an outside faucet. Total time for the repair: about an hour and a half. Total charges: less than $200. This time around, I had purchased a kitchen faucet and called to have my old one replaced. Shame on me for not checking the price when I called.... because I was STUNNED when Mike told me the charge was $350. Since I'd already taken time off from work, I didn't feel I could send Mike on his way and call another service provider... but I definitely will NEVER call Sunshine again. 05/12/15 |

Had a scheduled appointment. Got a call 5 min before the end of the window saying the technician would not be able to make it. Rescheduled for the next day. The next day, the technician never arrived, and there was no call.
All of this on top of the fact that some expensive water-hammer mitigations Sunshine had previously done in our laundry room did nothing to fix the problem. 05/07/15 |

I'm sorry, but your tech showed up a few minutes after the two hour window. He was very polite and waived the trip charge. So, I was still feeling very good about using Sunshine.
However, your tech didn't have an estimate immediately (in contrast to the other companies which gave me accurate estimates on the spot). Your technician told me that he would have an estimate for me by the next afternoon. I didn't receive my estimate until yet an additional day after that. Plus, that was only after I had to chase down the estimate by leaving a message with your uninformed answering service; emailing the main office; and finally just calling the next business day.
In a positive note, you were over $300 less expensive than the competition. That said, I happen to be a person who values reliability and convenience as much money. So, I went with your competitor and gladly paid the price. 05/06/15 |

We had to fire our contractor that was remodeling our master bath. We call Sunsine plumbing and they came right out. They reviewed the bad work left behind from our contractor and gave us a qoute to correct the issues. They were very kind, understanding of our situation, friendly, and he had patients for all my questions. They protected my home from his work and left it very clean. Sunshine Plumbing Tech Slate was courteous and knowledgeable as well as right on time he explained why my under-sink plumbing was leaking, making it impossible to clean out the sink clog without having to pull out the kitchen range, Slate explained all of this and gave me names of drain companies I would be able to call. When we called Sunshine to give feedback on our first toilet-fixing visit with a tech who had since left the company, Sunshine immediately offered to send a new tech the next day. Rocky came out the next morning (right when Sunshine promised) and replaced all of the parts in our toilet. He was kind, polite, honest about the cost and then offered an amazing deal we couldn't get anywhere else.
