Mark came over yesterday afternoon to troubleshoot issues with our well pump..He was kind, Prompt, professional and extremely knowledgable. Steve was extremely professional and very proactive checking the status and having other technicians ready to assist if there were additional issues..I highly recommend Reed Plumbing to anyone in the Columbia, Frederick and Western Howard County area. On June 7th I discovered a leak in the hose of my washing machine. I called my usual plumber who came out that day and stopped the leak. He said I needed to find someone who could move my stacked washer and dryer out of their recessed area, repair the ruined drywall and paint it. Then I should call him to come and repair the washing machine. Every company that I called either never returned my call or said they could do only do some of the work I needed. In desperation I asked my neighbor, a long time resident of Mount Airy, if she could suggest a company to help me. She named Reed and Son Plumbers. I called them, spoke with Steve who said Vince would be at my house the next day and he was. He and Mark did everything I needed done like the competent professionals they are. We had an emergency when our hot water heater started leaking and water was everywhere in my basement. Our neighbor suggested Reed and Son and we called and there were at my house in about an hour. Frank came to rescue and shortly after his arrival he had the old heater out and a new one installed and we have hot water within hours. Thank you Frank and Reed and and Son for a job well done. Wow! What an awesome experience I had with Reed and Son and more specifically, Vince! I just purchased a new home and the head of the neutralizing tank needed to be replaced. I'm new to being on a well and having a treatment system and to be honest, I'm a little intimidated by the system. They were replacing a water heater next door, I asked if they could fix my bathroom drain, he gave me a price and I agreed. Frank came over to fix the drain, he was friendly and courteous. Frank was there 10 minutes after I called about my downstairs toilet which was not flushing properly. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and had the right equipment to take care of it. He was such a kind and caring person, and said he wanted me to be treated like he would want his mother to be treated. He explained to me how as the water was going out it was also filling up in the tank at the same time. He even flushed it 3 times to show me that it was working properly.
