I contacted Mpls StP Plumbing and Air because my furnace was rattling loudly and I didn't know what was wrong with it. Ken came out and showed me precisely where my 18 year old furnace was beginning to fail, and also detected a gas leak that was actually quite dangerous. He took the time to answer all my questions and discuss options and I decided to replace the furnace. The next day Adam came out to replace it. They showed up when they promised, and I felt that everyone from this company was very technically educated and professional. Very courteous and they made good on everything they promised. They were amazing, I was having issues with my furnace and they had someone out right away. When they discovered my furnace needed to be replaced, they made it happen the same day (below zero temps.) Chad Sawnson did a phenomenal job with the installation. He was efficient and friendly and was really sweet with my kids who wanted to know what he was doing at all times. I chose minneapolis st paul heating,plumbing & Air for a furnace tune up. They were very reasonably priceed ($76) & offered a convenient time. Brian A showed up right on time.( Nov 13, 2013) . He was great - very personable - pleasant & knowlegable. Took the time to answer my questions- Ex. I was't sure how old the furnace was - he did a search on the furnace - model & was able to tell me it was 10 years old - & that based on his checkup - the condition of the furnace - it was in great shape & we wouldn't have to worry about replacing it in the near future. I've had other appliance reps in my home - Brian was by far the best - so much so I took the time to do this - which I've never done before. We had a very good plumber named Bruce A, who was friendly, fast, and skilled. He did a great job of repairing a copper pipe connection to our hot water heater.
Thank you for the opportunity to comment. I was frustrated with the "reviewbuzz" website so I just gave up. The same thing happened in September 2012 when one of your technicians did $2,600 worth of miscellaneous work and I tried to use the "reviewbuzz" website to comment but gave up in frustration. Saint Paul Plumbing installed our furnace and AC in 2008 and we liked the work their staff did then and so I called on them when our system needed maintenance and I wanted a programmable thermostat . I was called before the technician arrived and soon after the call Nick T arrived. He was very courteous and nice enough to slip something over his shoes to protect the floors. Great experience working with St. Paul Plumbing Heating & Air. I was told someone would be by during an hour time frame, and although they technician was a few minutes late, I was called by the office to let me know and make sure I could still be at the house. The service specialist's name was Bruce and he was polite and friendly and communicated very well with me. Worked with Ken H on my annual maintenance on my home furnace. He arrived on his scheduled time, not even a minute late. He was very professional in dealing with the client and had respect for the environment. He explained what his purpose was there for, and made me aware of what he was about to do. I have had quite a bit of plumbing work done by Minneapolie St. Paul Plumbing , Heating & Air. I have always been pleased with the quality of work, and find the plumbers to be efficient, skilled, and dependable.

Ken took the time to go over all of my options for a new furnace. He shared his knowledge and talked to me in depth about my old furnace. He used a camera to look in my furnace to show cracks and weak metal. Then he took a part out and it crumbled in his hand. After firing up the dinosaur and staying to heat up the house he made a plan for my new furnace to be installed. Mpls. St Paul Plumbing, Heating and AC was able to get our old dead water heater out and a new one in on a Sat. afternoon. Our regular plumber would have had us wait until Monday at the earliest. Jeremy did a great job of explaining the plumbing options, pricing, and the pro's and con's of each solution. He took the time to discuss in detail and we determined the best course of action. Once that was done, he checked his stock of parts (fully stocked van). He had them all except for one, and made a quick run to get it. He returned in no time and started to work immediately. As each subjob was completed, he'd check with me about my satisfaction. Each and every time, things looked great, and he proceeded on to the next portion work without delay. All work was finished in the same day. I'd have to say this was one of the most pleasant experiences I've have in getting plumbing, or any other service work done. My initial call was answered promptly and professionally. I explained the problem with our furnace, was told the tech would be here between 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM, with a pre-visit notifying call a half hour before the tech arrived at our home. Literally, everything occurred as explained to the minute.
1/2 an hour after inspecting and testing the unit, the tech diagnosed a couple of issues, suggested cost effective solutions and implemented the same. Our cost was minimal and we're pleased with the whole experience.
In fact, we've so pleased with the tech and his service knowledge, we've signed onto the annual maintenance program. The plan is reasonably priced and will provide peace of mind for the AC in the summer and heating in the winter.

Karl came to my house today to fix my shower and he did that. I asked him if he would be able to fix my water line on my fridge, the one for my Water and Ice maker. I was not told that he would have to come back on another day to do my fridge. He was very personable and respectful. He did an awesome job and cleaned up after him self. Jeremy P. replaced my old, leaky water heater with a new one within two hours of arriving at my house. His work was VERY clean and efficient. He gave me options so that I could make an informed decision about how to deal with the water heater (repair or replace). He had all the parts needed on his truck--the water heater itself, the new venting/valves, etc. And, he took the old water heater away. Lastly, he educated me about the service program that his company offers--saved over $300 on my water heater install by signing up.
