Prices are on the high end but they are so responsive and helpful - John H. was the technician on our first service call and he does top notch work, so I think you get what you pay for... we've already requested him for another job. My appointment was scheduled from 1-3pm and received a call from the company that Shawn would be here 2 and 1/2 hours earlier than scheduled!!! Great!!! I was excited to see my plumber show up early! Shawn was quick to determine what he needed to do, brought in his equipment and got the job done in just under an hour! Cleared my soil pipe I'm sure to the street hookup and let me know he didn't see any root problem, probably just years of build-up in the line!! Thank you Shawn. We had a sudden need for - as it turned out - an entirely new furnace, under a very tight time frame. The installation turned out to be complex, due to certain issues with the house. From the beginning analysis and estimate, through the completion of the installation, the work was excellent, the workers upbeat, polite, professional. Mitch Terry and Shawn were very professional, and worked extremely hard. The work they did was exhausting (14 hour day) and more than a bit dangerous, (having to carry out the old boiler, go up on a snowy roof to install a new vent pipe, yet they completed the work in a professional manner and managed to avoid getting hurt. I've used Mpls/St. Paul Plumbing for many years. Today we needed a circulating pump replaced on our heating system. Jeremy P. arrived earlier than the scheduled time, quickly diagnosed the problem, offered six different repair options for us to choose from, and made no attempt to try to steer us to the more expensive ones. Once we chose an option, he set to work and finished the repair in short order. Throughout he was pleasant, professional, and very easy to work with and have in the house. These repairs are not cheap by any means, but the work was of excellent quality performed by a skilled technician, and we're very pleased with the results. Recommended. Jeremy B. 02/03/14 |

Nick T was a great service technician! He put shoe covers on as soon as he got in our house, was super nice and conversational, and fixed our furnace really fast! He gave us a discount on the price, cleaned part of the furnace ignitor for free, changed the air filter for free, and gave us a 6 month warranty on the repair he did, even though he wasn't supposed to since it was just a "band aid fix." He also offered to put salt in our water softener, just because he saw that it was low! Our experience with Saint Paul Plumbing, Heating, and Air was great today! Our boiler went out during one of this winter's worst cold snaps. Mitch has been an outstanding professional. He has gone out of his way to lay out the various options, spent hours on the phone tracking down hard-to-find parts, and even called back to make sure that we were getting enough heat from the space heaters. I was pleased with Adam Merritt's work ethic. He was knowledgeable, quick in installing our new furnace, cleaned up after himself, put in a cold air return in the basement that works excellently' in a very tight working space that previously we had been told couldn't be done (when the old furnace was put in). He was efficient at his job. He explained how to change filters clearly, and set up our new wireless thermostat. He explained how to use that so I could understand it. We have always had good luck with your employees, both office and installers. They are always courteous and helpful. Our experience with your company and any follow-ups have been excellent. GREAT SERVICE. Todd M. showed up right on time to install a garbage disposal and did so quickly and efficiently. He was polite and knowledgeable, fully explained how it works, how to maintain it, and the install process. Then checked all the appliances and cleaned up. He also asked if there were any other issues he could address while on site, and I had him look at my ancient boiler. Our hot water heater unexpectedly stopped working on a frigid January weekend. We needed an immediate fix. My fiance called one local company,only to find they were booked all week. He then called MSP Plumbing and Heating, who were able to come to our home that Monday morning. After a quick assessment, our plumber, John, had a new water heater delivered and had it installed after a few hours. I also appreciated that there was no mess to clean up afterwards! I had heard plenty of advertisements for the company so decided to give them a try for a furnace tune-up. We currently had no issues with our furnace, but wanted to make sure all was ok. The service tech arrived early, was friendly and professional. At the end of the service appointment, he informed me a few routine maintenance things I could do to improve efficiency. He also took the time to explain packages the company offers for plumbing and AC needs as well. Although I decided to wait on the package this time around, I feel like I have found an honest company who employs honest staff. I know who to call for my furnace/AC/plumbing needs. Thank you!
