Todd M. from Mpls St. Paul Plumbing Heating Air gave my family super efficient and courteous service, arriving for the job exactly on-time and completing his work in a timely manner and leaving everything spic and span. We are very please with the work that this company has done for us over the past ten years repairing plumbing in the kitchen and bathroom and replacing our furnace five years ago. It's not cheap, for sure, but their work is excellent always.

I highly recommend this company because they took on a big job (50 leaks from burst pipes in the heating system and in the plumbing system) and were diligent and professional in completing it. The project took several days, and each day either Jeremy or Todd came when they said they would, worked nonstop the entire day, and took the initiative to show me new developments or to explain next steps. Adam was a great tech! They were very prompt, very pleasant, and he also showed me exactly what was done and how to change the filter on my new furnace. After my old furnace quit, they gave me space heaters to use for the day I didn't have heat as well. I'd definitely recommend them to everyone! We had our furnace break down. Our service technician, Ken Hatfield was amazing. He explained exactly what needed to be repaired and why. His professionalism, communication and representation of his company were excellent. He is someone you can truly trust, which in the service industry can be sometimes hard to find. Chad Swanson was an excellent representative of Minneapolis Saint Paul Plumbing Heating Air on our furnace installation. He laid down carpet and runners from our front door to the furnace to prevent tracking in on his trips to and from the truck. He was very courteous, knowledgeable and able to explain and answer our questions. The delivery truck driver was courteous also. The electrician installed the new thermostat and explained very well how to set up the schedule and how to make manual overrides to the schedule. Chad and the other two were very efficient and the furnace was installed and running in less than 2 1/2 hours. I highly recommend Chad and this company for furnace repairs and installations. Ken Hatfield was an excellent representative of Minneapolis Saint Paul Plumbing Heating Air on our service call. He was very nice to work with, explained the problem with the furnace very well. Since we have had previous problems and the part that might have helped the furnace work a bit longer was not readily available even if ordered, we asked about replacing the furnace. He explained all our options and gave details on what each part of the additional options would do for our comfort. Ken was very knowledgeable and able to explain and answer our questions. Our furnace failed as we faced the coldest few days in the last 25 years. From the beginning contact this company's personnel was helpful and understanding. We saw a technician in about 3 hours (Ken) who detailed our difficulties and tried to help us get a new furnace ASAP. He left space heaters and said with our fireplaces, we should be okay till the furnace arrived in about 36 hours. Our installer Chad was prompt and efficient and explained what he was doing and why we'd need an electrician to finish the job. However our new furnace was up and running in less than 3 hours using our old thermostat. Chad was thoughtful, careful and very complete in his explanations and cleanup. 444dHAI can t recommend Bruce Anderson highly enough. An outstanding, competent, professional whose calm and careful approach to our predicament was very much appreciated. Not only did he replace the broken copper pipe in our flooded basement, he also replaced a failed mains-side valve - even after the City was unable to turn off the curb-stop due to its being broken, too. To cap it off, on hearing that Servicemaster couldn t help us for a couple of days, he put us on to Restoration Professionals who responded immediately with equally competent representatives. I would be very happy to speak to a supervisor about Bruce s outstanding performance and/or to answer any further questions that you may have.

We had problems w our furnace and call Mpls/St Paul P & H to come out and look at it. A technician named Ken Hatfield came out and did a wonderful job! We were SO PLEASED! He was very pleasant and professional. He thoroughly study the situation and methodically went through it step by step to fix it! (I watched him do it!) Brian Anderson came to the house for the routine maintenance on the furnace and found the humidifier wasnt working. The digital humidifier control was bad, the line was clogged and the unit had been wired incorrectly! (this had caused the main board on the furnace to burn out 2X) Brian went above and beyond rewiring the entire setup and made sure everything worked correctly. He even helped us out on the bill.
If you have any furnace/AC concerns ONLY call mpls / St paul plumbing, heating and air. All of their techs are great (they installed our Air conditioner last summer and fixed the duct work that was improperly installed when the furnace went in. a few years ago. Thanks! Brian A. 12/28/13 |

A fast-acting, solid follow-through experience. My furnace died on one of the coldest nights. They were able to diagnose and install a new furnace within days. Even gave me space heaters in case I needed them in the meantime. Ken, Terry M (main installer) were knowledgeable! Adam M and Nick T did a follow-up after the city said I needed a code fix. They made it all happen.

We had been experiencing intermittent issues with our heating system and our initial thought was that we had a malfunctioning thermostat. Changing the batteries seemed to do the trick for a few days but then we woke up on a Friday morning to a house that was 59 degrees and getting colder. It turned out that the issue was the boiler and it being a Friday and what with a having a dog and two young children to be mindful of, we called Mpls St. Paul Heating and Air Conditioning to come take a look. They said they’d be able to get someone to the house at 2pm and indeed, just before 2 pm, Jeremy P, showed up. He was courteous, took the time to listen to our problem, and was thorough with his diagnostic work. He was also up front about all potential charges and offered us a variety of solutions without pressuring us into any one of them. The repair we opted for required him to make a trip out to Hopkins for a part which he made and returned to complete his work. We were very happy with his service and would highly recommend him. Minneapolis St. Paul Plumbing Heating and Air came out to give us an estimate on a Sunday when our heat broke and it was -5 degrees. Our estimator was honest and we felt very comfortable working from the company from there on out. They set us up with an appointment the next day and came right within the time window they provided to us. Adam M installed our new furnace and was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was very professional, friendly, and super clean! Adam even offered to bring in extra space heaters for me to keep me as warm as possible while he worked. Minneapolis Plumbing Heating and Air was all in all a great company to install our new furnace.
