My furnace died on Sunday so I called Genz-Ryan as they had installed it back in 1994. Noah F. was dispatched the next day to determine if my furnace could be saved. He did a thorough diagnostic exam but sadly, my Lennox Pulse 21 now being obsolete and parts from Lennox no longer available, it could not. Nevertheless, Noah was wonderful to work with. He was very respectful to me and my home. He answered all my questions with patience and forthrightness. In the end, I got a new furnace from Genz-Ryan installed the next day. But for the dead furnace part, my experience with Noah and all the Genz-Ryan staff was A . If you ever need furnace help, call Genz-Ryan and ask for Noah F. and tell them Jim sent you.

Chris R. was an excellent technician and a true asset to Genz-Ryan. He was professional, yet friendly. Our furnace was very old ; Chris needed to customize the duct work; he worked non-stop from start to finish. He was a very good lead and was very thorough in his install. He and his team worked well together. They were very quiet and non-disruptive. Tom M. was also excellent. He redid the electrical connection. I feel very safe and comfortable knowing the unit was properly installed. The furnace runs great! Chris R. and Tom M. did a fantastic job! Thank you... I do "love those guys!"

Bill was very nice but admitted to knowing nothing about my water heater. I provided documentation including website troubleshooting manual, discussed various scenarios, asked him to check the items in the manual. Vascillated between $99 service charge and upcharge to $199 if diagnostics had to be done. He was there for diagnostics--and repair as needed, so not sure where the disconnect was. Ended with water testing for chlorine and water pressure, both of which I knew the results before hand. He said several times he'd call Bradford White for guidance, but that didn't happen. No other ideas other than to replace my unit with a $12000 one that Genz Ryan would warranty. Bill is a nice guy, no doubt, but when I called and asked if the company works on Bradford White, and got a "yes" I expected a little more proficiency than Bill was able to provide. And my hot water heater still doesn't work in the morning unless I start another gas appliance first (calling Centerpoint energy for troubleshooting next). Sorry I can't give you a higher rating.

I called Genz-Ryan Plumbing & heating in the morning and had Matt M. over a couple of hours after, replacing a kitchen sink which was hard work due to the heavy one I had and replaced a new garbage disposal. Fast service, honest, professional and kind. I will definitely call this company again and ask for Matt M. to work on my next projects.

Starting with my initial telephone call at about 8:00 A.M. on a cold Frifday morning, I was treated professionally and courageously by both your customer service representative and dispatcher. As I was given an indefinite appointment, your dispatcher called me several times to give me progress reports on when the technician would arrive. Noah F. arrived at about 7:25 P.M. on a cold Friday night, put on his shoe covers, listened to my description of the problem and went to work. It took him about a half an hour to diagnose the problem an explain options and the cost. He had the part in his truck and installed a new high efficiency blower motor in about an hour. He tested the motor, cleaned up and left about 9:00 P. I appreciated his willingness to work so late to get my heat working on a very cold day. I am pleased with all aspects of this service call an would have no reservations about recommending Genz Ryan. .

Ryan A. was super helpful and walked me through everything. It being my first home, I don't have much experience with furnaces, A/C, etc. He explained it all very well and even gave me some tips on my water heater and softener, and he certainly didn't have to. No up selling whatsoever. Call center was also extremely helpful, keeping me informed even though I didn't have an appointment. I will recommend.

Phenomenal service again with Tom R. I had a question about my water heater that was recently installed, and instead of answering it over the phone, they insisted that they come out to look at it since it was still under warranty.
