Terrible experience. Ryan quoted me $1200 for a minimal repair and $2500 for a full repair. I thought I would try to save some money and got a second opinion. I'm glad I did because the second company said no repair needed. Do not let this guy into your house!!

professional and very helpful overall. one thing I did not like was the mess they left. caulk is very difficult to clean up. I would gladly have given them tarp to set the caulk gun on. The dispatcher was very helpful with professional call backs.

Genz-Ryan is very professional and courteous to deal with. When you call, the dispatcher knows the field calendar accurately. The day of the appointment, dispatch calls again BEFORE the technician arrives to inform you when he'll arrive within your slotted 2 hr. window. Our technician Noah F. arrived within 30 minutes. He seemed well trained, and expended little time in diagnosing the problem. He clearly presented several alternatives without bias to any. Completed the job neatly and showed us how to use our new equipment. Noah is personable and very comfortable in front of customers. Effuses a great presence and Genz-Ryan representation.

I have well water in my home and I called Genz-Ryan to help come up with a plan for my high iron that was ruining my sinks, tubs, clothes and hair. Zach M came out and did a thorough testing of our water and reviewed the results immediately with me and then with my husband via phone. Zach was very professional and courteous. He helped us find a solution that was right for us. We will have our iron filtration system put in by the great team at Genz-Ryan Plumbing & Heating. Thank you!

When the water softener and water heater was quoted L. Bottom said that he would remit the form for some sort of credit. I called a couple of months later and the secretary said it would be done. So far not received or heard from them. When the furnace work was quoted J. Pearson was to send the work order. When the workers came, still no work order. My wife mentions that the furnace makes a bubbling noise at night when it kicks in. Other than that.........

Five years ago sold me an Eternal water heater. Eternal went bankrupt a couple of years later. Stood by the warranty regardless when a part in the heater failed this year. Chad did a great job, commiserating with us and working to find a solution despite my grumpiness. Genz-Ryan are never going to be the cheapest but they look after you when things go wrong.

Was very pleased with Genz-Ryan right from the beginning. Our furnace wasn't working and needed a fan motor replaced. The technician, Noah, was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and finished the job quickly. We will hire Genz-Ryan again for future service needs.

Matt did a very good job explaining options and giving his recommendation. He did the plumbing task quickly and clean up was excellent. Things now work well with the plumbing issue we had. One area where there could be improvement - The company had just launched some new electronic work order write up of options, that started the very morning my appointment was set for. Matt tried for over 2 hours to use the new software and made many calls to get assistance. In the end, he presented options on paper and I made a decision. I felt bad for Matt. My suggestions, don't start any new software out in the filed until after everyone has been trained and tested for competence. Lucky I had the day off. I was not in any hurry. Matt was a nice guy and I felt bad for him. But he did a top notch job on the plumbing. (and that's what I'd expect for the prices charged)

Technician came and told us it would be $89 to diagnose furnace issue and let us know how much it would be to fix. He was in house 8 min and found thermostat to be on incorrect setting. He moved a switch then within 10 min of coming into our home he wanted to bill us $180. His min charge plus service call. We said that he didn't even tell us what was wrong before apparently fixing it. Finally after arguing for 15 min he settled on the service call fee of $89 explaining why we don't pay him for his experience and said to never call again. Low and behold a week later we called because the furnace was still shutting off and he didn't even fix anything. Worst experience ever.

I had NO idea that Genz-Ryan was a Flat Rate billing company. I was told only that there would be a $99 service fee if no work was completed. When I needed an additional part, I was told that there would be no billing and that I needed to sign and pay for it before the part was ordered and installed. I assumed (shame on me) that I would get an itemized bill in my email. I was wrong. Because the receipt did not come until after business hours, I called the next day. My request for more information on my bill was sent to management. It has been 3 days and still no response. Less than stellar customer service from that standpoint. I do not understand why I cannot be informed of the part cost and receive an itemized bill. Is this really best practice?

We had a odd smell and strange sound coming from our furnace during the middle of the night. We shut off the furnace and contacted a local HVAC company to come out the next morning and determine what the issue was, they stated that the blower motor was failing and quoted a $1100 price for a new motor. We wanted to research this and did. We spoke with Genz-Ryan who sent out Noah who looked over the situation, he diagnosed the issue and quoted us a price for the repair that several hundred dollars less than the other HVAC company. Noah completed a compression test and showed that the furnace other than the blower motor was in great shape. Noah had the motor in his truck and worked late on a Friday night to take care of us. He was polite, respectful, took the time to explain what he was doing and stayed on task. I know moving forward where we will call when we have issues. On top of this they service multiple brands of furnaces and A/C units which was a real plus. I have rarely written a review but Noah was exemplary and represents Genz-Ryan extremely well.

The people at Genz-Ryan are great but their follow up is not up to expectations. I signed up for a service plan in November which includes Furnace filters. I even paid extra because I have two furnaces. It is now mid February and despite multiple phone calls I still do not have filters or any indication when I will get them.
