I called very early in the morning. I had no hot water! Genz Ryan got right back to me and kept me posted on appointment availability. Tom came out to my house and re-lit my water heater pilot light - it had gone out due to winter weather and condensation. Tom was very helpful and showed me how to do it myself in case it happened again. Tom was great to work with and fun to talk to! Mike with Genz-Ryan HVAC was a very polite and very knowledgeable technician. I would give him a 10/10 for a rating, and would absolutely call them again for any repairs. Had to reschedule the first time which I took off work for. 2nd appointment just now scheduling worked well, but the technician was extremely sketchy. Pricing jumped all over the board being inconsistent, zero paperwork or information on equipment that would installed or what we would be purchasing. Technician kept referring to "genz Ryan is large so we can charge more". I never again will utilize your services due to the extremely poor experiences my wife and I have had. The technician even offered and recommended us to upgrade our furnace, a furnace purchased through GENZ RYAN 2 years ago during our build. 01/04/17 |

Our water heater had broken shortly before Thanksgiving and Chad had come out to do the repair/replacement. He was so thorough in explaining everything to us and didn't rush us one bit. I liked that they emailed that someone was coming, that person called ahead to let me know what time they would be here and when they arrived they introduced themselves so I knew it was the same person. Jeff P called and let me know he was on his way. He was here early even and ended up putting in a 10 hour day to replace and install a furnace. He was very through about what he was going to do and when to expect a delivery etc. He hauled out old duct work and new was delivered. He laid down drop clothes to keep the floor clean and even swept up after himself when he finished. I would have gladly done it just to have heat again after two days! Genz-Ryan. Our furnace went out this am, and we called about 8am. By 10am Richie Rimer was here and helping us out. He was very professional. Our system is 25 years old, so we knew it was going to happen sooner or later. He gave us several options and was through going over each option. Bill B was sensational. On Christmas Day he spent a great deal of time tracking down a pump to install and drove clear across town to Plymouth in pouring rain from Mpls to get the pump and bring it back. Terry Hardy did an excellent job on the Carrier furnace call. Good diagnostic techniques and was able to pin point the issue of no heat. The part was available and delivered and installed. Terry was super - professional - answered all questions. He explained the Service Plan Partner and benefits so I signed up for the two visits each year. Terry is a real asset for the company! It is Christmas day and the pump in our Sump Pump fails at 8 am so we cant use any water in the house. I called Genz Ryan (who installed the pump system) and they called back and sent Bill B. Not only was he extraordinarily friendly and competent, but he went a thousand miles to track down a new pump (ON CHRiSTMAS) and drove all the way to Plymouth from Mpls and back and then installed it - so by 4 we were up and running again.
