Jeff was great. We had a heating problem in this frigid weather. When he came out he did a temporary fix with the promise to be back the next day with a part. We had a water leaking problem in water heater, and have to install a new one. The service is immediate, and well done. Matt is very organized and detail oriented. Came home from work Friday before the big blizzard and deep breeze yesterday, found the temperature of the house in the 50s and the furnace would not turn on. Called and was able to still get a tech to come out very late Friday night. Loren showed up and was amazing. He worked with my husband and found the problem(s) with our furance. He showed us the problems and explained each of item so we understood the risks to continued operation. He understood our concerns and was easily relatable to our situation. He showed us the different options of repair and replacement. He was patient, explained items really well and more than once when we couldn't remember (it was around midnight before we made our decision). No pressure from him at all. Terry H came out for routine furnace maintenance and it ended up being much complex than that. There were two other potentially significant issues he ended up troubleshooting and resolving before he left. All through the process he was willing to answer all my questions to make sure I completely understood what he was doing. He wanted to make sure I understood the problems so I could prevent them in the future. The service was OUTSTANDINg and he was incredibly patient and understanding. I'd pick him again in a heartbeat. We paid $99 for an ambiguous diagnosis. There were 5 options of fixing it ranging from $289 on up to $4200. The furnace isn't even worth that much. Then with the lower amount he wouldn't guarantee it would fix it shutting down when wanting heat called up more than 5 degrees. I have never seen all the options, just what would take to fix the problem. Then he couldn't send me the options by email to show my husband. I have never in all my years of owning several homes have encountered this. It was a waste of time and money. 12/15/16 |

My furnace was not working last Friday morning. I called Genz-Ryan and they not only answered the phone, but they had Richie here by 4 pm that day. He inspected the furnace and than gave me options. It wasn't good news, I needed to replace about 3/4's of a furnace that is only 11 years old. Richie explained everything, gave me advice when I asked for it and then did the repairs that he could so I would have heat over the week-end. Richie was professional, concerned, friendly, knowledgeable and my dog loved him! On Monday, Terry returned to install a major part of the furnace and he was just as great as Richie was. Terry was friendly, efficient, thorough ... great job! Wasn't creepy to have him in my house when I was home alone. Sometimes having service personnel in your house can be creepy. Not Terry! I requested a plumber to come and secure our pedestal sink and stand firmly to the wall, and to repair the leak the sink had in its connection to the wall and Dave Brown was the Service Technician they sent to my home. HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND! He is BY FAR, the best, most knowledgable, and most courteous "plumber" I have ever had in my home. We were extremely pleased with the work done on our furnace by Genz-Ryan technician Terry H. He did a complete and thorough review of our furnace along with the needed replacement of two new fan motors.. He had one motor in his truck and located the other at a distributor and delivered by a Genz-Ryan service man and installed all w/i three hours. I had Chad ***** from Genz-Ryan Plumbing & Heating Company, Inc come and take care of the leaking main water pipe. He gave an estimate before starting the job and took care of the issue. He successfully and satisfactorily completed the job in less than 20 minutes. I would always go back to Chad ***** from Genz-Ryan Pluming. On the other hand, 3 days before, I had another plummer (Bill) from *********** came to take care of the job. He wined and wined and said how difficult it is and charged the heavy amount and did not even do the job. Not only did he charge me but not complete the job as he said it's not fixable. He gave me another quote to replace and the cost was 5 times what I paid to Genz-Ryan to do the same. I will never go back to ***********, bad experience the first time. Chad O. 12/07/16 |

For a few days our furnace would have failed starts when the thermostat called for heat. With cold weather soon approaching, I knew I needed a professional to check the furnace to be ready for winter. I had fired my old Heating and Air Conditioning provider due to poor service and excess costs, but I remembered seeing some Genz-Ryan television commercials recently on television so I asked my wife to call them. Genz-Ryan was quick to answer our call for service, less than 24 hours. The Service Tech was Jeremy *****. Jeremy was very professional and efficient. He fixed the issue and gave us some pointers that will prevent a reoccurrence of the problem. I am sold on Genz-Ryan Plumbing and Heating.
