Woke up to a main-waterline break in the front yard...on a Sunday! Not a great feeling and way out of my league to fix. Made the dreaded call, knowing I was over a barrel. I am stunned at the level of professionalism Marc represented Dutton with. Dug a huge hole, found the leak...fixed it cleverly and it's probably the most solid part of my whole line now. He did NOT gauge me, despite having me at an obvious advantage. Super clean work, excellent clean up....other than the wet grass, you wouldn't even know it happened. Jessie L was great and did more than he needed to in resolving our plumbing problem. He brought things to our attention that needed repair even when the problems were from outside suppliers (soft water tank leaking). We chose Dutton Plumbing by chance on a late Saturday afternoon. We are certainly glad we did. Placed the call and within 1/2 hour Matt D showed up. He was very professional and friendly. He evaluated the pipe break in the backyard and suggested several options for us which I liked. But let us choose how we wanted to proceed. The work was done to our total satisfaction. Our master bedroom shower and toilet drains were clogged and backing up. We called Dutton Plumbing for the first time and David P. was the technician. David with the assistance of supervisor, Oscar, came out and told us what the problem was. Since our house was built in the '50s, the metal pipes were old and corroded. We decided to change all of the metal pipes to pvc pipes. David and his crew arrived promptly the next morning at 8:00 to do the job. They worked hard and diligently. It took them only one day to change all the pipes and unclogged the drains. Just one note...that morning of, our other bathroom shower and toilet got backed up, too. David walked us through each step he was doing and when we had questions, he would answered them immediately. David was very knowledgeable. It was a big job that had to be done, but we were very happy with the results. I would recommend very highly David and Dutton Plumbing for any plumbing problems you may have. David P. 02/10/14 |

The estimates for what we needed done were pretty high and out of our price range, but David P worked with us and was able to fix our garbage disposal without having to replace it. Jesse L was great to deal with. He arrived ahead of time, but I was called with updates on his schedule so I was ready. He gave us an easy to understand estimate for the work and completed the work very efficiently. He even did extras like checking our water pressure and the condition of our water heater. He left the workspace clean, neat and dry. He didn't just fix and leave, he ran water and reinspected his work twice with time between just to make sure everything was okay before he left. We had a problem with a repair made earlier. When we called them out to address the problem, they had no issues sending Ryan out. If fact, he was right on time and showed us the a completely different problem. We weren't looking at the right thing. This is why I'm not a plumber. Matt and his team did a great job fo me. Knew I had a root problem in my main sewer line. Matt gave me a very fair estimate to repair problem. Upon getting to problem area , checked rest of line going into street and discovered another problem that needed to be fixed. Only fix other than going into street, which would have been very expensive, was to run liner into sewer line. This also expensive. Thought estimate was fair. This was my first time dealing with this Dutton Plumbing. They scheduled the service for the same day requested, the office called to give me regular updates on their arrival time, and Brian and the other technician arrived within the two hour window I had been given. Both were clean, personable, respectful and professional, and they both struck me as intelligent and articulate. I had their full attention. They weren't checking their cell phones or looking at their watches. Our plumbing issue was multifaceted and required some deductive reasoning, and they took the time to figure it out. I was expecting to have to replace a costly pump, but Brian figured out it wasn't necessary, and with a few new parts, and new cartridge to a leaky toilet (for which I hadn't budgeted repair, I got both things working beautifully for half of what I had expected to pay for the new pump. When he got there we were a little standoffish after having received an estimate from another company that was what we thought unreasonable .
