Oscar has been my favorite plumbing technician for nearly a decade. He is prompt, courteous, neat and impeccably clean in his work, knows exactly what he is doing and I trust him completely to do anything. Today, he did the repairs I had planned on and noticed another problem, fixed it, and prevented the need for a far more costly repair in the near future. Dutton is a good and reputable company and Oscar is wonderful (and a very nice person, too). I have had the worst day ever. Plumbing problems galore. I called Dutton Plumbing and they sent Bret P. He was the most honest and helpful professional I have dealt with in a long time. It was late morning on a Sunday when we had a water leak under our kitchen sink and laundry room. We were able to manage until late afternoon when the technician arrived. Armando was clean, polite and responsive to our questions. He also wore protective covers over his shoes and used a floor mat to protect our floor, which we appreciated. Before starting the job, he explained our options and associated costs and did not pressure us in any way. He was extremely conscientious and tested all of his work before leaving our home. We had a bunch of minor nagging things that needed to be repaired or replaced for a long time. Tom J. came in, provided a fast quote, and since I was pleased with the quote explanation and the price (no plumbing work is cheap...), I agreed to have Tom do the work right away. He offered cost effective options for all of the items on my list that repaired what was there instead of only wanting to replace the whole thing. He had all of the parts in his truck, so he did not have to leave and come back at all. He thoroughly cleaned up after he was done and made sure EVERYTHING in the house was operating well and not leaking before he left. We discovered a leak behind the drywall in our closet late Friday afternoon and called Dutton Plumbing. They sent a plumber out the next day, at my request. Thought it was now a weekend, there was no extra charge. The plumber was very professional in appearance, explained what he was doing each step of the way, gave us options as well as quotes for what the price would be. He had the problem fixed within an hour. He even called a mold remediation man for me since I had concerns about mold inside the wall. Water all over the floor is anyones nightmare, it was ours earlier this week. My husband googled the best plumbers near us and Dutton came up. We called and they showed up no more then an hour later. Our technician Kevin and his apprentice Tyler were so professional, informative and kind. Excellent knowledgeable and quality service, but tremendously overpriced. $196 for a water heater "diagnostic" consisted of a voltmeter reading of the thermocouple and a call to the manufacturer to verify error codes. Brian S. was very professional and extended every additional service that was possible.
