He also replaced the kitchen faucet which had been falling apart for years! He gave me some suggestions for further care of the water heater which we will be taking care of later. Feliz J. was a joy to deal with! He was fast, neat, clean. He took lots of time to explain all our options to us. He even put covers on his shoes when he came into the house. We had a main line replaced and his crew, J.P., Pablo & Bernardo were great, they finished in 2 1/2 days, digging holes, replacing the pipe, covering the holes, putting everything back the way it was, (we had our yard landscaped) it was exactly how we had it. Facing what I was sure would be a messy and expensive job, it was with real apprehension I met with Felix, the service technician. He answered all my questions and more, convincing me to have he and his crew replace my sewer line. My house is over 50 years old with established plants in my garden put there by my husband and me.
His crew of three men appeared on Monday morning and went straight to work.The new technology they use to feed a new sewer line to the street without digging through the driveway or yard is amazing! These guys are true pros.
Everything Felix promised happened. In fact, it's like it never happened, my yard is back to better than normal. All in a day and a half.
I would recommend Dutton Plumbing to everyone.

You know, when we were told we might need a new water heater, when the other one was only 3 years, well, that was kind of hard to accept. For many reasons...
However, when faced with the prospect of not having hot water for 3,4 or 5 days, while waiting for a part, we knew we had to bite the bullet and get a new one. But you know what? My wife used to complain about not getting enough hot water upstairs and I guess we (I) used to write it off to...gravity.
It wasn't gravity; it was a bad hot water heater. An ineffective one, apparently because we cheaped it up. The new one? The new one we didn't think we needed? Unbelievable.
Who knows why the 3 year old hot water heater went out so quickly. Perhaps it was the "bad water" we have in our area. However, with our new Halo Water System, which we got through you guys, we won't have that problem again. I'm sure of it.
No one wants to call a plumber and spend the kind of money you're going to spend...when calling a plumber. However, I (we) highly recommend Dutton Plumbing.

Kevin was very personable, patient and easy to talk to. Even though the job was difficult and it was a very warm day here in the San Fernando Valley, he remained calm while dealing with my husband's many questions about the garbage disposal and hot and cold water dispenser he was installing. He and his helper took their time in making sure they were the exact purchases we wanted and completed their job that day. Brandon D. arrived on time. He helped clear the clogged drain and reset the pop-up so that it wouldn't clog in the future. I have used Dutton for years. They are not the cheapest but they are reliable, will come in emergencies and are always truthful about the situation. Brandon arrived on time and was able to determine what he thought the problem might be and went about solving it. It ended up being a little more than we originally thought but he wasn't deterred and was finally able to get things as they should be. He was patient, kind and thoughtful.
