After 18 years in the house, it was time to get a new HVAC system. Contacted Worthington Air, and finally chose a system. They came out the next day and was told the air conditioner model that we chose was out of stock, and they did not want to cause us any delay, so we got the next model up (13 seer to 16 seer).
The installers Josh and Adam did an awesome job.... They were professional throughout the process and were very personable. I would definitely ask for them in the future. We ended up needing a condensation pump because our home builder did not have an adequate drain, and they took the extra step of routing the drain to our sump pump drain (no extra cost). It was obvious they took no short cuts and they made sure all of our questions were answered.

There was miscommunication on the cost of the service fee and Columbus Worthington Air waived my fee entirely - honestly, I couldn't have asked for a more trust-worthy company. We had our first heating inspection since pruchaing the house. Our service technican Doug M. was great! He was friendly, on time, and circled back for us same-day even though we missed our scheduled appointment time. He pulled out our blower assembly in order to inspect the heating element. I was originally happy with the Sales Person, Dan Phelps....he was knowledgeable, did a thorough estimate by measuring volume of space, made recommendations, reviewed the estimates and answered my questions.....process was great. Then when Josh and Adam showed up and stated that the Chimney Liner would not work, it was a bit frustrating, but we worked through that process....so things were good again. Adam and Josh did a great job and explained the steps along the way and were very respectful of my house and things. They stayed late to get the job done and made me feel comfortable about taking apart the furnace and having to put it together again to get it installed in a tight space......thanks guys! 09/28/18 |

I had my 40 year old furnace and 25 year old AC unit replaced by Columbus Worthington Air. My house is an 1896 Victorian and there are always 'surprises' that one runs into when doing any kind of renovation on an old house such as this. Adam S. and Josh C were very friendly, knowledgeable and were able to work through the issues of tight spaces and installation issues. They kept me informed of the progress and next steps and were very professional throughout the project. I've been a customer of Columbus Worthington Air for decades. Nevertheless, when it came time to replace my system I still solicited proposals from four reputable companies, including Cols-Worth Air. Even though I did find solutions from at least two other companies that seemed to meet my needs and were slightly lower in cost. However, I was keen to install a Bryant unit based on my reviews of quality and my own personal experience with the product line previously. Cols-Worth Air competed to win my business, gave me additional financial incentives, and gave me exactly the products I was looking for. I installed a rather basic Bryant furnance and AC with a humidifier, slightly enhanced MERV 11 filter and the system comes with the cool NEST E thermostat and also 2 CO2 dedectors. Kurt was an excellent sales guy to work with because he listened! His boss Tom also got involved to work hard to keep me as a customer and to provide a few incentives. I was called ahead of time by the company letting me know when the technician would arrive. Rob E. showed thereafter and proved to be professional, quick, reliable, knowledgeable, personable and provided service with a smile. He took time to make sure I fully understood the repairs made and provided a no-pressure suggestion for a future repair that would need attention at some point. Have used Columbus Worthington Air for several years and have always been satisfied with the service. Would be concerned if I would get Josh M. as my technician often. He is a unique fellow who might unnerve some of the customer base with what I would consider an awkward demeanor. That of course is a personal opinion. What is not an opinion is that he took a very long time to complete a routine fall check up of a 5 yr old house/furnace. 2 hours and 15 mins to be exact. I do appreciate he might be just learning or he's unusually through however this may need to be pre-advised with the customer. In speaking with him later in the appointment I decided he likely did know what he was doing which was starting to be a concern as the time wore on. Kelvin Jr. was my service technician. I had just moved into a new house. The furnace and thermostat were older and more complicated than I was used to. Kelvin took the time to show me how to use it. He could have told me I needed a new furnace! And I would never have known the difference! But I felt he was fair and honest. That's really important to me.
