Today, Columbus Worthington Air sent service technician, Rob E. to do a maintenance check on our air conditioning unit. He was polite and professional as he entered and exited the house while doing his job of thoroughly checking the thermostat and heating/cooling units inside and outside the house. Ian was a fantastic service tech. He remembered our house from his previous service trip here 2 years ago. He anticipated what we needed (compressed air cleanout of the drain on our A/C unit), put the necessary equipment on his truck, and arrived at the scheduled time prepared to do an efficient, competent repair. He left no mess and showed great respect for our house. He wore booties when he came inside so he didn't track in mud from the garden where the outside unit is located. He took time to hose off the coils of the compressor to make sure it was functioning at optimum efficiency. I love having a service tech of this caliber--it's so rare these days. I plan to have Ian at Columbus Worthington Air return twice a year to do regular maintenance on both of our HVAC units. Ian H. 03/09/16 |

Our experience with this man was exceptional. He thoroughly checked both our furnaces to insure continued proper performance. I asked him to also install a new thermostat. Rob E. did a phenomenal job at my house today. I needed to have some PVC redone and due to the original install (many years ago and not done by CWA) it was tricky to say the least. Rob is not only a really good guy and very knowledgeable, but his detail orientation and absolute dedication to quality was incredible. I'm very quality oriented myself, so I truly appreciate when someone has the same perspective. The job took quite a bit longer than he expected (again, due to the complexity) but he did a beautiful job. I've been a Columbus Worthington Air customer for almost 15 years, and I've become accustomed to really great service but Rob totally knocked it out of the park with this one. CWA HVAC technician Jamie T******* came today to repair my humidifier on my furnace. Jamie was just plain awesome. He was polite, knowledgeable and let me know everything he was doing and why. Heck, he even fixed my thermostat so it will maintain the humidity settings now instead of me having to go downstairs to do it. I will be requesting Jamie for all of my HVAC needs in the future. Kurt came out here on time, was very thorough with the installation and making sure I understood how to operate the humidifier. CWA responded to our phone call quickly and scheduled a same day appointment. The person that answered my call was quick to acknowledge our need; She set up a service call immediately and recommended that we sign up for there service program. She explained the benefits of the service program and how we could immediate benefit from it. CWA arrived on time for our appointment and Kenny W. our service tech was awesome. I gave as detailed a description as I could as to our problem and Kenny went right to work and was able to provide us with what the problem was in very short order. Very professional, very knowledgeable and quick at their work. Kenny went over everything and explained everything in detail so that we were able to understand exactly what the problem was. Kenny went through our HVAC system completely and ensured everything was functioning as it should. At the completion of our service call Kenny even went as far as to recommend to us a whole house Humidifier that would her with our heating and comfort. We are considering Kenny's recommendation and look forward to doing business with CWA in the future and hope to have Kenny as our tech, as he was awesome. Kenny W. 02/23/16 |

I love that they called when they were on their way. They were very thorough and tested the new system after it was installed. They also installed a new gas valve because they saw it wasn't up to code and fixed it. Our old furnace was over 30 years old so the codes had changed since then. They explained the new thermostat and where to change the filter and any cautions to look out for. With our new furnace they also provided two new carbon monoxide detectors which I thought was a caring extra step that they are not legally required to do.
