Dwayne visited our home on Nov 4th to perform the semi-annual service check. We have a propane-fired furnace and 2 air conditioning units. All Carrier equipment. We have a maintenance contract with Blue Dot. While the contract is expensive, we presently feel it is worth the expense given the extreme temperature changes and weather that we experience in the Baltimore area. The equipment needs to be in tip-top condition to help ensure continuous operation especially during the winter heating season. As to the service call, Dwayne did a great job! He was respectful of our home. He was methodical in his approach to checking out the systems. In particular, I like that he took the time to give me thorough answers to my questions. Dwayne seems very knowledgeable and I was comfortable with his work. I felt that our heating and air conditioning equipment received a very effective servicing as a result of Dwayne's visit. I hope that Dwayne will be available again for future service appointments. He's a good guy!

We called for a furnace service and cleaning. Skip was very thorough and found more than we wanted for sure. He found damages from prior service work and the broken plate for the burners. He also found a cracked heat exchanger. Obviously, we were not expecting this for a 20 year old oil-fired furnace. We learned a hard and expensive lesson. Watch who you choose as your service company, you get what you pay for!. I want to thank Skip first for finding this life threatening problem and condemning the system. I also want to thank Blue Dot for having great Technicians on staff who are willing to tell the customer the truth. I know some who would not. Thank you

Executive Summary - I couldn't be more please with the professionalism of Blue Dot and quality installation of my new Daikin gas furnace, steam humidifier and AC unit. Details - Dave S. was my comfort advisor. He was very professional, knowledgeable and attentive to my questions. My project involved moving the new furnace approximately 10 feet to recover some space in my basement. He worked very well with Robbie, the installation supervisor, to create a plan of attack. They constantly revisited various aspects to ensure the job was done correctly. This two-day project was handled by Robbie, Jeff E. and Ryan W. They were very efficient, but not a corner was cut. They moved our thermostat into a higher traffic area to make better use of the learning thermostat we purchased. The installation was very clean and I would absolutely recommend them (and Blue Dot) to anyone currently contemplating a new HVAC system. Thanks again for a job well done, guys!!!

I tried to post a review on the site from the card Nate provided, but was unsuccessful. Nate did a wonderful job, he took time to explain to me the different functions of the register. I do have a problem with your communication. I was a technician and I know that some jobs take longer than expected. But, not to call and inform that someone will be late is inexcusable. The first time we scheduled service it was for a 10-2 PM slot. At 2:30, I called and was told the man was running behind and would call shortly. At 5 PM, I called and rescheduled. At 6:30 your office called and said the man would be there in 30 minutes. When I told her I had rescheduled, she didn't have a record of it. Len M eusel

We called Blue Dot On 10-27-2015 for an appointment to check our heating system and were able to have someone come out the very next day! Thomas was friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable. He took care of cleaning and testing the system and then bled our radiators. I had never bled a radiator, so he carefully explained the procedure to me. Now I'll know how to do it if I ever need to, but I'll probably just call Blue Dot again!! Service was top-notch and reasonably priced. Thomas, thank you for your service today, and I really hope they send you out to us on our next service call!

We have a maintenance contract with Blue Dot, when I called for service, the customer service dept. was so friendly and helpful, it's refreshing to hear a friendly voice . Thomas L the service rep. explained everything that he did, I asked him questions about my thermostat and he helped me to understand. He was very friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend Blue Dot .

It was a pleasure dealing with Blue Dot from the begging I have been a customer for 10 years and I feel I have always been treated fairly. My salesman Dave was very knowledgeable and helpful. The service techs were prompt, very friendly, did an excellent job, and explained the operation of the system. I would recommend the techs and Blue Dot to anyone.

Over a period of three to four weeks we have had a heating issue and at times no heat at all. Five technicians were out and each had a different opinion. Parts were replaced and after each call, the same notice came up on the thermostat, "System malfunction, call Blue Dot." Each time another part would be ordered eating up five or more days and each time the problem was not fixed. Then, Carlos came out to access the situation and after taking hours of testing and waiting for things to happen, he resolved the problem. We needed a new pressure switch. Another week of waiting and the switch was installed and all is working well. Thank you Carlos for solving our problem. If you had come first, we would have had heat three weeks ago. You are our man of the year!!!

I filled out a Schedule Appointment form on Blue Dot's website Thursday evening and received a call a little while later the same day. An appointment was set up for the following day. Frank E, the service technician, showed up in the time frame that was setup. He was professional, used shoe booties when entering the home, and went about his work efficiently. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me that he was doing and had done. I was completely satisfied with the experience and appreciated the professionalism. I will use Blue Dot again for our next service and recommend them as well as commend Frank for a job well done.

After the first technician Thomas L. couldn't diagnose the problem with my heat pump Matt P. Was sent out. Watching Matt work I can tell you I believe he is one of the best HVAC guys I've ever seen. I've worked in the automotive industry for 42 years on cars, trucks, busses you name it. I could tell by the way Matt went about diagnosing the problem that he knows his job well. Thanks, Matt

Had a new Carrier Furnace/ Air Conditioning system from Blue Dot installed by Kevin and Justin today and they were excellent. On time, polite and willing to answer questions about my new system. Did little things like making sure the Air Conditioner pad was level by propping it up on bricks, cleaned up all the loose bolts and nails afterwards. They always wore booties when in the main parts of the house. I'm very satisfied with their install and looking forward to starting the system up and start saving $$ with better efficiency.

First let me give you a little background: 1. I have been a customer for over 20+ years 2. I am a retired past President & CEO of a major bank who even financed the buying of Blue Dot by Rich Foard from Van Hoy. 3. I just spent over $25,000. with Blue Dot less than2 years ago on three furnaces. 4. I even added 3 air scrubbers last years to all the furnaces. 5. I have had service contracts for all the years on all the equipment. And than came 9/8/15 when I have what I think is only my second service call in as many years, when Calvin shows up. I had called seven hours before and called again only to have Calvin call at about 11 PM, and ask was I sure I wanted him to come. My furnace had shut down due to the pan overflowing with water and having the "hockey puck" shut down the system. I being retired with two back operations got the wet vac and towels to try to clean up the mess. Calvin arrives uses a rubber bulb , opened the line up and wrote is ticket up and was gone in 10 minutes, which you will note I signed "under duress". He never offered to clean up the pan still half full of water, instead he put a block under the "hockey puck" to raise it above the water in the pan. I have called the office and told them to mark my card that Calvin is NEVER to be sent to our home again. I told Calvin to have his supervisor call me, as of the date, 10/18/15, I have never received a call from anyone so I assume Calvin never intended to have to explain why I wanted to talk to his immediate supervisor. In am in the press of writing a letter to corporate, from one President to another, telling them how this office is being run. Went my contract expires I will be going to BGE HOME like most of you good techs have gone.

Blue Dot called me in advance of the technicians arrival as promised. Tony, my technician arrived within a few minutes. He put protective booties over his shoes and started to work on my furnace. He changed both my filter and humidifier pad and performed a thorough check of my furnace. Tony left the area clean when he was finished. Bryant Gutierrez and his assistant, Rey M. Showed up at my house on time and began work immediately. They worked for nearly 11 hours installing a new AC unit and furnace.
